Taste Restaurant @ Lucky Lou Dimsum Seafood Chinese Restaurant

The food was excellent! I really enjoyed the dim sum! They had a lot of options so everyone in my group tried something, and it was all awesome. The restaurant was clean, and staff was quick!

Good dim sum and noodles. Not nearly as good as dim sum from New York or Philadelphia. The place is clean and the service was good.

Authentic Chinese food and quick service. They do have menus in English too. Dim sum and lots of yummy small interesting items you can't find everywhere such as jellyfish and hollow heart.

It was a good variety of Dim Sum for a city the size of Indianapolis. If you come when they are still rolling the carts, there is more variety than what is offered on their menu. I recommend arriving earlier than later because they do run out of items. Will be back to try dinner!

Not the best but it's pretty good actually and a nice variety of options for Indy. You're most likely to have a good experience if you visit on the weekend around lunch when everything is being made fresh and new dishes are coming out hot from the kitchen every few minutes and around the tables. Would recommend doing some research beforehand if you're not already familiar with dim sum dishes so you know what you want to try, otherwise you might end up getting average but overpriced dim sums on the staff's advice. It's a bit expensive but reasonable and that's the case with dim sum everywhere for the spread you're getting.

I highly recommend this place! The food was so delicious and the portions are really decent! The staff was really friendly, bring all your friends, you’ll love it! The dim sum was 100% great!

All I have ever gotten here is the Dim Sum but I have never been disappointed. Always fresh and flavorful. They're the best I've found in Indy!

Loved it...but I can see where it is not for everyoneThe only reason this is not a 5 star review is because this is not a restaurant for everyone. If you are looking for a typical American-Chinese meal with pork fried rice and egg rolls...this is not the place. This is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Indy and definitely offers meals that you cannot find anywhere else. The Dim-sum days are awesome and the regular menu is super tastey. Be adventurous and try it out!

Best handmade dim sum in Indianapolis! Fresh made, steamed to order. Saturday and Sunday brunch times are very busy. Come early or the most popular dishes will be sold out. Excellent noodles and seafood for dinner. Lovely ambiance and great decor!

The food was fresh and hot! Im not even sure what it all was that we ate, but it was all fantastic. The staff was very friendly and made several recommendations since I had never been here before. You could est here everyday for 3 months and not have the same thing twice. I will be back for sure!

It's so hard to find dim sum at all in most of the Midwest, so I'm really glad the one we found is good.These entrees are fresh steamed. They bring them out to you as they get finished, so don't expect all your food at once. The pork rolls (any flavor) are delicious, and the bean paste rolls are to die for! To really get the full benefit of their option-laden menu, I recommend picking out several entrees as a table, and each taking a couple dumplings a piece of each flavor you order.
