Taqueria La Flama

I got a taco plate and chip and salsa. The steak on my tacos was over cooked and hard to chew. This meal was almost $15. I will not be returning. Over priced for sure

Looking at the plates around me when I entered was just mouth watering. Mulitas and Tacos are highly recommended. Asada and Pollo would be preferred over the Carnitas. Quick service, friendly staff. Salsa bar could have spicier options.

Asked questions about phone number and hours operation was guided to Facebook. Smelled good but front counter wasn't friendly or knowledgeable on information on business. 7a and 7b run down by this restaurant if ur catching the bus

Truly wish I could give this zero stars. Went here with my father in law and found a RUBBER BAND IN ONE OF HIS TACOS! When we called the restaurant for a refund, she laughed most of it off and stated they did not have any rubber bands, but if he'd like to bring it back from the other side of town so they could "see what the rubber band looked like" they'd happily remake the tacos (like we'd ever eat from there again!) What's more upsetting is that my younger brother was also eating some of those tacos and he could have choked! Absolutely disgusted with the food and customer service and we immediately reported them to the health department.

Had the gorditas, easily on par with the gorditas I had in Mexico and they were huge. This place is awesome.

This unassuming place has some of the best Mexican food in Boise. Their arroz con pollo is excellent, their tacos are excellent, and their mulitas are excellent. Everything here is good and the price is great. Give Taqueria La Flama a shot and you will not be disappointed.

Had the menudo and a couple tacos tacos weren't that great menudo it was okay

Authentic Mexican taste. Salsa bar with several choices from mild to EXTRA spicy. Order at counter, but they deliver to your table. This is quick, but IT IS NOT BORING/BLAH fast food.

My granddaughter and I went to Taqueria La Flama this week. It was very good. The chicken that they use was obviously stewed in house, It was not processed chicken. It made the difference in the Tamales and Enchilada. Very tasty. The two ladies working there were very nice as well.

This was my first time eating here and wasn’t really sure what to expect; and my expectations were blown away.The wait wasn’t terribly long, the quality of the food was great, and the atmosphere is pretty solid. I plan on returning here.

The Boise Valley has a large number of Mexican restaurants but very few stand out. Most serve up the same lineup of bland, Americanized Mexican food. Taqueria La Flama is breaking the mold.Salsas can make the difference between an OK Mexican restaurant and one that shines. Here, they have a salsa bar with several varieties, radish slices, lime wedges and a type of cabbage curtido.The best is a guacamole with a chile kick. It's the best salsa I've tasted in Boise.So far, I've tasted their tacos and a mulita, meat and melted cheese sandwiched between two corn tortillas. They are excellent. Although more of a fast food eatery, they deliver your dishes to your table and bring you a basket of chips, a tomato salsa and queso.Arctic Circle and Speedy Burger didn't last very long in this same spot on busy Fairview Avenue. Let's hope the third time is the charm.

I came through the drive through and the lady told me to order when I was ready and I ordered right away, SILENCE. Waited 3 minutes tried ordering again, silence :( no one was at the window or tried to get ahold of me so I just drove off all awkward and sad. Waited a total of 8 minutes for nothing I shoulda gone inside but just went somewhere else.

This resturant continues to be one of our favorite restaurants. La Flama is the closest to the Mexican food that I grew up eating in San Diego. The flavor of their food is always on point and their carnitas are amazing.

Food was decent for a quick bite, service was poor. The lady who took my order was rude, and couldn't understand me I repeating my order 3 times twice in English and once in spanish she still couldn't get my order right. She acted as if it was a huge burden to confirm my order when I got to the window because she still didn't know what I ordered apparently! I appreciate if you want to be quadruple sure my order is right and ask me again and again but to give me attitude about it? I'd dont think so. I'll never return because there are so many better spots in the area with better service

I love authentic street tacos. This place has me driving all the way across town because I can't resist coming back for more. I highly recommend checking them out. Their staff is quick, friendly, and helpful. And the food is to die for. Well done.
