This place is the real deal. Get the Lengua and Horchata. Don't listen to the reviewers that gave it anything less than 4 stars.

When I saw chicharon de pollo on the menu, I knew this place was legit. Really yummy tacos. Definitely a hole in the wall, which makes it even better.

Not what it once was, but still a good standby for a lot of favorites.

Delicious Mexican restaurant located just a couple of blocks up from the Columbia Heights metro. It is small, not exactly pretty place -- but the patio has umbrellas and the food is amazing. We have also been here for brunch a couple of times, the huevos are great.

Good combo deal let's you try four tacos of your choosing, plus a beverage and dessert. Enjoyed the salty and flavorful chorizo taco. Service is warm and friendly.

My husband and I come here frequently! The tacos al pastor are the closest thing I've had in the US to the tacos you can get on the street in Mexico City. The horchata is the BEST horchata I have ever had. The service is always friendly although sometimes slow it is worth the wait. The prices are fair and similar to other restaurants in the area.

Distrito Federal makes a rad taco. They keep it simple, its just the meat, some cilantro, and onion. Try the carne asada or the barbacoa res, you will have the best time, I promise.

This is a nice touch to Columbia Heights. The food is choice. All of those fast food burrito places has nothing on them. The meat is so fresh, the juices are pouring out of it like a woman who's water broke.Graphic, but it's Truth. I mean, dude, there were still some bits of cartilage on there. So you know it's not processed and packaged. And the tortilla was crispy and warm.On this side of the coast, this is the best burrito. And if you think differently, well, all I gotta say is: Haters gonna hate; keep hatin'.
