Tao Chicago

I heard about the TAO restaurant, only good, but you have to go and see. And very important to taste the food. I went to restaurants, but I can say that I ate the best food of my life. Pleasant music, pleasant atmosphere, quality staff and very well trained professional. For real five stars. THANK YOU, TAO CHICAGO, THANK YOU !!!!

Have been to the one in L.A. but this one is a bit better in my opinion. Came here with my family to celebrate my return to America and had an amazing time. The cocktails and food were spot on. Will definitely be back here for sure. Glad to see it's been put to better use then Excalibur.

Was lucky enough to have a private dinner for 2. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves!Chef Mike has prepared the tastiest menu in Chicago ! He puts a unique twist on everything. The hostesses were very friendly. Dress to impress. This place is fancy, but not pretentious. I highly recommend going to Tao 😎

Had a large group of 8. They sat us immediately. The service was really good. We ordered 5-6 different apps. 4 rolls of sushi. We ordered the best things on the menu and it was all really good. Love Tao and the environment.

If you are coming for the experience Tao gives a great vibe, service and display of beautiful food. If you care about how the food tastes - Tao will probably will be a waste of money.The atmosphere is wonderful. They really did a nice job with the decor.The service was great. The only issue was the the seating - the tables for couples are too close to one another - it's like seating on the same table. It was especially uncomfortable when the man next to me start sneezing for a couple of times, or when the waiter's backside start rubbing our table while he tried to reach forward.The food looked awesome, but was disappointing. The only good dish in my opinion was the Crispy Snapper. It's not that all the other dishes were bad, but they weren't good either (taste wise).Definitely worth it just for feeling the atmosphere, but maybe eat something before coming.

Amazing! The menu has something for everyone. However, for those that like simple food...you might need a little help finding it. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Such a cool place to take in the vibe and enjoy the experience. The wait staff easily handled our table of 8, even when we had difficulty making up our mind on food. They were patient and helpful through the entire experience. The food came out in a timely manner and everything tasted amazing. This place is expensive. Keep in mind this is the only restaurant offering this experience and food selection, so the price tag is subjective. This is a place I will visit multiple times. #letsguide #chicago

Very lovely interior design and stunning artwork. The ambience was just right. Food was very food but even better, the desserts. I seriously was not expecting that!!! I'm obsessed with the donuts dessert and molten chocolate cake. Definitely coming back!
