Tangerine's Japanese Cuisine Sushi and Bar

I go here at least once a week. Better than any sushi place in town. Better than Nama and way cheaper. Their lunch special is amazing value. I wouldnt go anywhere else now. Every time I do, I'm disappointed.

Tangerine is a phenomenal place to eat and grab take out. Pay no attention to these negative reviews. Some people complain just to complain and I would wager that some of them are fake anyway. The sushi here is top notch and fairly priced. Larger portions than a chain like Wasabi and much better quality in comparison. The hibachi is a little pricier than some other places but well worth it in terms of quality and portion size. The staff is friendly and works very hard to meet the demands of their ever growing client base. Hands down the best sushi in Knoxville!

Yes I'll always give this place a five-star or to be honest it is beyond a five star. I have never been in to a Japanese restaurant before in my life when you go in the music sounds or wonderful the way they serve you is amazing and the food always tastes wonderful. So every time I go I appreciate every time I eat the most wonderful food Japanese hibachi dinner and wonderful sushi thank you again

I really like this place. It's your standard Japanese restaurant, with the dishes you'd expect. The food is always good, and the service is always pleasant. The prices are fair too. It's very clearly family run and operated. There's a lot of pride in each dish. It shows in the attention to detail that goes into their food.

Food is amazing. Staff was friendly and food came out quick. Sushi was delicious, can't wait to go back.

This place is AMAZING! We have visited here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. I used to live on the gulf coast and this place is the best I've had since I lived there.

Sushi is awesome. Its a lil slow getting your sushi but definitely worth the wait.

I would give this place 10 Stars if I could. I cannot say enough about the Wonderful owners & staff. I moved back to Tennessee a couple of years ago and I asked where the best Sushi is served. My brother took me to Tangerine and I’ve never gone elsewhere. Everything is perfect 110% of the time. On one occasion my husband and I had our hearts set on sushi only to find out they were closed due to being away. (Our fault for not checking ahead of time) So we tried what others had recommended.... Namas only to be VERY disappointed by prices and quality of the sushi. Maybe Namas is good if you’ve never eaten at Tangerine! Trust me when I say Tangerine is a hidden gem!!!

The sushi and hibachi are terrific. The service is great as well. One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Knoxville.

Me and my wife have made this place our new favorite when it comes do Japanese food. The sushi is out of this world, The hibachi Steak & shrimp is amazing. The service is as always on top of its game. If you like sushi try the Tennessee Roll.

Nice restaurant with friendly service and VERY good food! The sushi was delicious as well as their hibachi! Definitely worth a try, we will definitely be back!

Amazing sushi and hibachi. Quick service and very genuine staff. Sat at the sushi bar and got to see how to make it. Will definently be coming here more often.
