Was my first time trying michelin star Indian food and it was up to my satisfaction!

Good and not too filling Indian food. Good sampler menu. But very noisy and busy. Not suited for a quiet evening. Deserts to forget.

Superb diner. Highly recommend. Great service friendly and attentive staff. Decor is modern chic yet cosy. Upstairs a little more formal. Downstairs (where the open kitchen is) more fun and lively. Most of all the food was incredible. Tasty great flavours with enough spices but not too hot. The small plates grills are the best (particularly loved the grilled prawns and lamp shops a MUST). A little pricey but it’s Mayfair and worth every penny.

It was great, the food was sensational, tasty and so creative, we loved it! The chef came over for a chat, which was a lovely touch 👍😊 I took one star down for service. I have high standards and like attentive service, which it wasn't. Plus if you have bad hearing you will struggle there when it is busy and there is no measure to bounce off the sound, therefore it is loud.However, the food is what will make you come back, and so shall we 😊👍❤️

LThe Indian Food at a next level. Inexpensive dot its location I will be there once a week. Service was top notch. The ingredians were absolutely fresh. I give 10 out of 10.

My husband booked this place for my birthday. The restaurant is in the basement. Has a good ambience. Even though the tasting menu is until 9:30pm only, the staff accommodated our request for the 9:45pm reservation. Initially we were offered an extra dish from the chef as well. The food was amazing. Including the starters, mains all the way up to the desert. The service was excellent. They got a desert for me on the house for my birthday along with a happy birthday song. Altogether I had a fantastic time. The pictures are of the vegetarian tasting menu(all the courses). It was quite filling.

We loved our lunch at Tamarind. The service was outstanding and we felt very welcomed. We came with a 7m old baby and everyone was so accomodating that we could just relax and enjoy our lunch. We liked the selection of wine per glass and found the curry portions to be generous however the grills were on the small side. We found everything to be fairly priced regardless the size. I was just a little disappointed with my Dahl dish that lacked a bit of a 'decisive taste' but loved all the other dishes with samosas being a real surprise...

We chose the gourmet tasting menu and were treated so well from the moment we entered the building. Highlights were the black pepper chicken, pistachio lamb and the cocktails. It was just the right amount of food- we didn’t feel shortchanged! I can’t wait to return.

My family and I went to Tamarind last Monday 28th October. We had a 1st class meal. We were given a lovely welcome as soon as you entered the restaurant. Staff were friendly. Surroundings perfect for any occasion. Tamarind is an exquisite restaurant in a perfect location.

Chicken, prawns and fish were all bad in the non-veg tasting menu. However lamb and biryani in main course were nice. Paneer tikka / corn salad are lovely.

Simply Wow! The yellow curry scallop on the tasting menu was incredible.

Had a set lunch money on a weekday. Excellent food and sumptuous sides. Great value for money and brilliant service.

Took a booking over the phone for quite an important date and then called a few days before to cancel as they had OVERBOOKED! How can a establishment which prides itself on high end service give such a lack of it? Insult to injury the woman who called to cancel didn’t seem apologetic at all! Having dinned at Tamrind on several occasions before I can confidently say I will never be returning.

The best Indian food I've ever had. Their valentines menu which sadly ends today was amazing.
