Talia's Steakhouse & Bar

About

For over 15 years, Talia's Steakhouse has continuously reinvented the strictly Glatt kosher restaurant as a hip, modern place, where everyone will feel welcome: from Chabad and Satmer Chasidim to Modern Orthodox, secular Jews, non-Jewish customers and all other ethnic groups, Talia's has something for everyone. With so many repeat customers and fans, it's no wonder that Talia's Steakhouse has built such a "Haute" reputation. As one customer puts it: "You oughtta be the best, most progressive-still-frum place." Talia's appeal reaches far outside of its Upper West Side location with its two unique dinner and brunch menus offering a gourmet selection of prime rib, filet mignon, duck, whole branzino, homemade hummus, Belgian waffles, shakshouka, non-dairy tofu cheeseburger and more. Where else can you sip a cocktail at midnight while catching a cool breeze at Talia's Outdoor Cafe or enjoy a ball game on a large screen TV while eating a delicious, mouthwatering kosher steak. Talia's is a great spot to take your wife or girlfriend out to dinner. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere, dimly-lit, candles and fresh roses on each table, mellow live music and a wonderful blend of American and Middle-Eastern cuisines. She will be talking about her special evening for weeks to come. In addition, Saturday nights all year round, Talia's transforms into a romantic lounge where people from all over come to reconnect with old friends and meet new and exciting people.

I went to Talia's on Tuesday night with my friends. Even though it was very busy, we didn't feel any inconvenience or lack of attention. As soon as we walked in we felt very welcome and people were very accommodating. The servers were very attentive and took great care of us. Right after we sat down we got warm pita with middle eastern platter which was amazing. I got prime rib for one (medium rare) which comes on a sizzling pan and it was delicious. My friends got BBQ spare ribs and veal chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and portions are very generous. The atmosphere is great for group dinning as well as dates. We will definitely be coming back to this place

Very well organised and convenient spot. They serve generous portions and for economical rates. I enjoyed the meals very much and the waiters were very personal and informative. Highly recommended.

Questions & Answers

Street parking is possible but depends on lots of factors. Lot parking is an option, but expensive.

Oh I'm a guide, I don't work at or for the restaurant. Please do call or send them an email as I do t know the answers to your questions

You need to call them directly to ask. Their hechser is listed on their website. I don't know if they check Google maps. Call them direct as it's already Thursday and you need an answer asap.

Yes .An evening at home in Israel. Have a Happy New Year!

Not veggie burgers but delicious grilled eggplant with tahini dressing. Fresh pesto hummus babaganoush many salads. Food is so good!! Ask for Linda at the bar. ?

Yes, unless you go after peak hour which I suggest because then it's a lot quieter and much more pleasant

Are you open during Passover?

If you're going to go during the busy times you should make reservations, otherwise you can just walk in, I would suggest going when it's not busy, you will have a much better experience, that's what I did.
