Hugh has a wonderful shop. We ordered the Prince Harry tea set. It came with endless pots of your choice of tea, Scottish shortbread cookies, a classic Motorloaf (loaf of bread with the middle removed and replaced with small savory sandwiches), and a choice of two marvelous scones with apricot and raspberry preserves. The atmosphere is perfect, and Hugh occasionally relates stories of growing up in England. Loved it. Will definitely recommend.

Overall average. My review is for the afternoon tea. This is also a polo store and it sells such items that makes it unelegant and unpretty. However, the food is good and filling, but not good enough for me to come on my own initiative.

Lovely little place and homey. It can be a bit pricey so be prepared.

I invited a friend to a birthday afternoon tea at the place when a reservation opened up a few days before. There aren't many tables so reservation is a must on weekends. The polo riding stuff is a bit kitcshy. I thought that it was over cluttered since they used the bathroom to store stacks of extra shoe boxes of boots. The best part of the tea was the blackberry and vanilla scone. My friend enjoyed her Ghiradelli chocolate chip scone. Service was courteous. What I disliked was the micro sugar cube sized shortbread biscuit (crumb). They could have tried to bring us each a normal sized cookie for presentation and satisfaction. That micro cookie delivery made me burst out with laughter.

Came to have Harry's tea service. Absolutely wonderful. Gracious host, excellent food, and a charming atmosphere. This is the place to come for tea, motorloaf sandwiches, and the most amazing scones.

My favorite tea experience in SF so far (and I've been to many tea rooms)! Ambiance is like a comfy Ralph Lauren Sweater - you're surrounded by equestrian gear and tasteful tea knick knacks, while enveloped by classical music and the chit chat of neighboring tables. The huge stand out is their homemade motorloaf bread, which is hearty and nutty. The scones (around $5.50) seem pricey in comparison. They frequently have groupon or other deals. The staff is warm and attentive.

Only had the blueberry scone and tea party which were both excellent. I loved the equestrian store in front with the equine theme carried into the tea service. Adorable place to take a break post walk at Lands End

I wish they could add more kosher 🎠options.

Delicious food but recommend going w/ a groupon or else it's pricy

Love this little tea shop that started out as an equestrian shop. If you have never tried their special bread this is a most stop for afternoon tea lovers.

If you like English tea and equestrian decor, this is the place! An out-of-the-way neighborhood treasure for San Franciscans.
