Takibiya Yakiniku Restaurant

I loved the ambiance. We ordered the steak, shrimp, rice and kimchi. They brought out some meatball appetizers that we put on the coal and they were so incredibly tender! I loved them! Also the prawns were huge and i drizzled them in the Japanese bbq sauce and then put them on the fire and they were amazing! They also gave us dessert and it was like a pastry similar to a croissant with vanilla ice cream inside and that was also great!

We ordered a full-course meal that was supposed to start with soup, kimchi, vegetables, etc. Instead, we started off with a whole beef (sure enough, I am a foreigner, what do I know?) But then, we got a second plate of meat. At this point we were starving, so we just ate the food thinking there was some delay for our other plates to arrive. We eat for 40 minutes or so, the other foods dont arrive. We then ask what happen to the rest of our food. The server come back 4 minutes later with all our starters. At this point, we no longer want the food. Another thing to mention is that the servers don't pay attention to when you call for them. You have to walk up front, or wait for them to pass you if you want to be served.

While the meat was good the communication and the delievery was lacking in such a manner that made the food unappetizing in of itself. This resturant seems to cater more over to the native population rather then tourists that find this place randomly.

Not tourist friendly, this has really been the worst experience i have had i Japan so far. The waiters are careless and the language barrier worsens the situation. We felt overlooked by the staff, clicking on the help button several times without getting any service.We ordered a full course meal and got the Main course first, then after 45 minutes when we where about to leave, we got the appetizer and the 3rd plate at the same time.Again the worst experience, they craved a full price deposit for the whole scandal, tried to negotiate but we only got a small discount.There are not only touristst that have had these experience, read other review's and see that this restaurant need imporvement.

Are you an awesome carnivorous? Great portions at great price. Delicious grilled meat japanese style (half raw). Highly recommended.

This restaurant is not tourist friendly.We ordered our food, a full course meal where you fry your own meat and have it with a lot of different side dishes. Sounds exciting until you get the meat first, no starters (Which we should have gotten) and no side dishes (Which we also should have gotten). We finished the meat and started to wonder where everything else was so we tried pressing the "Push-to-call" button, but no one came over. We tried pressing again after 5 minutes still nothing. We had to go over to them to get an abswer. We were still not sure where our food was and they didn't say it was on its way or anything. We got the rest of the food 20 minutes after. After bwing ignored for 20 minutes we decided to pay for the meat only and leave

The clerk was too low.If you make a reservation and have an all-you-can-drink in the private room, the clerk will not come, no matter how many calls you make, and it is not necessary for you to go from the back of the customer at the end. I heard that voice, I just wanted to ask the usual drink,
