Taipei Taipei Tea House

Ate there for the last time a few days ago. The food is inconsistent, meaning that the General Tso's chicken that we had a few days ago tasted different than the time before, and it was again different than the time before that. Same for the hot and sour soup, same for the szechuan pork. A couple of years ago we were going there regularly because you knew what you were getting and it was great. The last three or four visits have been pot luck, we order the same thing but it never tastes the same. It was so different I even asked if there is a new owner or new chef and was told no. Whatever they're doing isn't working for me, my wife and I are done going there.

I believe everything but the fortune cookies is made fresh, in the kitchen. Basic Chinese menu, but highest quality. The eggrolls are amazing! A board next to the register is overflowing with notes speaking to the quality of the food and service, as well as affection for the owner/chef, all well deserved.

Best kept secret in Brooksville. I've brought my family here about 10 times. Friendly service. Large portions, even for the $7 deal. As a world traveler, I can say the flavors are authentic.

Thai tea with lychee boba was delicious! Fun to joke with the staff.

Friendly people nice little place

One of the best Taipei resturaunts to be made. Has excellent bubble tea which is flavored perfectly. Many dish options the best of which in my opinion is the emperors delight.

Best Chinese food I've eaten in Florida in 3.5 years! Fair pricing, good sized portions. The crab rangoons use REAL crab! They taste amazing! The small restaurant was slammed with take out orders on new year's Eve, we were dining in. Food was a little slow but staff was apologetic and offered free egg rolls. We were so enthused with the boba tea menu we didn't notice how long it had been. The honey chicken I ordered was perfect. The lo mein was tasty. The egg drop soup was a little thicker than what I'm used to but it had excellent flavor. My husband and the two other adults we had dining with us enjoyed their food. We all agreed it was the best Chinese food we have had in a long time. We plan on going back. Bathroom was clean, service was friendly, excellent food. I have no complaints!!

This place is a must. Great portions. Good prices. Each dish is fresh made. Delicious.
