Tai Pei Garden

First I came here on black friday or Thanksgiving day because I wanted something that wasn't McDonald's and Burger King which was the only other food places open. I wanted to try their general tso which is my fav chinese chicken but they didnt offer the lunch special because of it being Thanksgiving which made no sense to me. Instead the lady said I would have to get a combo plate if I wanted that which was almost $9. I wasn't about to pay buffet price for 1 plate so I just got the fried chicken wings. They were just ok, but had a little fish taste to it which makes me think they fry both in the same oil which u dont do as fish will over power the chicken taste. I was going to give it a 2 star as they disnt let me get the lunch special but the wings weren't bad so I gave it a 3. I wouldnt return to them though as there is better Chinese in the area then them

The person answering the phone was very nice and friendly. Even when I made a mistake with the order and called back, she was pleasant and quick to accommodate my goof up. Once I arrived to pick up my order it was timely and fresh, and just as delicious of numerous other similar restaurants I have tried near and around the area. They were just as friendly and courteous as they were on the phone, the food was delicious and I plan to return for lunch often. Thank you!

Just picked up my order, no sauces ordered fried rice and got some kind of rice not fried. The taste for scallops in a garlic sauce more like a sweet sauce. Hate it!
