Tad's Deli

One of my absolute favorite delis in Virginia Beach.. I'm very wide array of sandwiches always made extremely fresh, homemade soup and salad options. Service is always quick and the ladies that work in there are extremely friendly and so accommodating. I would rank this 10 Stars if I could.

Great Italian sub and pasta salad

Local deli...nice people...clean place...food is very fresh and tasty. Lots of choices besides a sub such as salads, chips, drinks and homemade cookies. I'll be back soon!! 5 stars.

We really enjoyed the fresh ingredients of our sandwiches. Very tasty. Friendly, efficient staff. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching.

We found this place on Yelp and so glad we did. The lady behind the counter was patient as we considered all the various meat, cheese, and bread options of our family of 4. We grabbed sandwiches and chips from here for a quick lunch and it was surprisingly good! She accommodated is by toasting our bread, adding a side of pickles and making each sandwich custom to our liking. We had these amazingly fresh sandwich back in June and again today. My husband made a lunch run while we were on the beach and was back in no time. I’m sorry I hadn’t left a review before but couldn’t let this one wait til next year. We are confident we will be back again and again. This is a go-to lunch spot when we visit Va Beach!

I got the roast beef /turkey sandwich with marble bread. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life!

Let me start by saying I am an extremely picky eater and I also don't usually leave a review unless something really changed my life. I got the VB cold sandwich with potato salad and mac and cheese. The sandwich is hands down the best sandwich I've had in my life, seriously life changing. This is the type of sandwich I would break a diet for. Perfect amount of meat, the house made sauce was so good, and for a person who hates leafy greens, the lettuce was so fresh and crisp I ACTUALLY LEFT IT ON THE SANDWICH. The potato salad was ok but not the best I've had, and the mac and cheese was unexpectedly spicy which does not sit well with me. The sandwich more than made up for it though which is why it's 5 stars.

I lived at the beach for 15+ Years and can't say that I ever ate here. Now I work at the beach and went here for lunch today and I am MAD that I missed out for all those years! The antipasto salad is so yummy, I wish I bought more than one side! The sammiches are prepared fresh and the portions are HUGE! I am SO glad I work down the street from Tad's Deli! Thanks for a great lunch. and Service was exceptional too!
