Best Taco Spot in the Columbia area. Wouldn’t rank any other restaurant as being close to it.

Love the flavor! most authentic I've been to (set up like chipotle but MORE Mexican styled) fast, and affordable! Definitely recommend and will be back

It's crazy how that burrito was so delicious. Love the green sauce, it for sure added a kick ---to it.

Oh. My. Goodness. This place is so amazing! Everything tasted fresh and crisp. I've been places in which the flavors just blend together for a cheesy, salsa mess. Not here. You go through a line to place your order kind of like Chipotle or Moe's. It went quickly and so delicious! We had tacos and nachos...yum! I highly recommend checking it out!

I absolutely adore this place! Best Mexican food I have had in awhile. I wish it had a better location but from what I heard they also have a food truck. Adorable place, great staff and incredible food!

Quality of food is excellent. I really recommend it. I told my husband and he loved it! Took my in laws and they loved it. So much variety and options! Lo recomiendo!!!!

I was passing through Columbia and decided I would eat something other than chain fast food for dinner.  I found Taco Nayarit on Yelp.  Arrived about 7:30 PM.  Note the restaurant is not located in a heavy commercial area.  As such it is easy to pass.  Fortunately Google Maps was spot on and I got there without issue.  The restaurant is also fairly close to the street.  I got three soft tacos, chicken, shredded beef, and pork,   The experience was similar to what I get at Chipotle:  Go through the line selecting the components of your creation, pay and pick up your meal at the end. The food was fresh and tasty.  I am likely to stop through here again.

This place is amazing! Authentic and flavorful. Lots of choices and add ons are all fresh! I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

My first time stopping here. Glad I did! It's super cute! There were a lot of patrons ranging from military personnel to construction workers. While I was leaving two Richland county cops came to eat as well. I tried the sopa with steak and the gordita with grilled shrimp. It was good and filling. I even tried the agua fresca. Make sure to ask what flavor is available because it changes daily. Definitely tasted more authentic than the chain stores in the area. I used to read about the Tacos Nayarit food truck in the Free Times and never got a chance to visit. Now I'm ready to come back to their restaurant!

I came here because it was very recommended by a Mexican friend who couldn't get enough of all the great choices available. I got three tacos to try some of the flavors available, and they were all great. The steak and chorizo tacos tied for second, but the carnitas were off the chart! An order of fried plantains with sweetened condensed milk and a cup of horchata made for a complete meal. I wish I could eat here all the timeDec 20 update: Holy smokes I wish I'd tried the churros the first time I came here. Fresh and hot and crunchy with cinnamon sugar, I've never had a churro this good. And it's filled with vanilla cream or something amazing. Totally recommend. The gordita and sope are also up there to compete with the tacos

Everything about this place was authentic and genuine. The tacos were yummy! I will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Delicious quesadillas and tacos. Not your average Mexican Restaurant! So much better. Warning! If you like very spicy, use the green salsa! There is a milder one than the green.

Best place in town for mexican fast food. Dont miss out on this place if your Local or in town for a day or two. Prices are reasonable for the great food.

By far the best Mexican food. As close to California as I am going to get. Everyone is friendly. The service is nice. The atmosphere is peaceful. First time there and finally impressed.
