I saw a lot of great reviews so I wanted to try it. I think you really need to be a fan of thick pizza that's kind of doughy. The edges are crispy but I think it's just a tad too thick for this style so it's doughy. I wish the toppings would have gotten crispier too. It didn't really have much flavor, just real okayyy pizza. I'd go to other hot spots in town. With this place you're mostly paying for bread. With my leftovers I may try putting it in the air fryer to see if that helps but idk, I didn't like it.

I walked in with my kiddo yesterday out of curiosity and ordered a Vito to-go they asked if I wanted it sliced or not,( I guess it’s a deep dish thing so make sure you get it sliced if that’s what you want) anyways this pizza was worth the wait, I walked in expecting a wait since it was obviously packed with orders it did take about 30 minutes or so but man, those minutes were well spent. Pizza was delicious and the people were great; they let little man watch them make the pizzas and even let him quality control a slice of pepperoni. Awesome place. Best pizza in Tacoma.

While not the best detroit style I've had, they deserve 5 stars for being one if the only places around that makes it

Order off the menu and enjoy a delicious pie. The gluten dairy bomb is worth it. Price included. Trust me. 10/10

The crust, the cheese, the sauce and toppings were excellent, and baked to perfection. It was our first pie 🍕, but won't be the last. A big plus, it's only a 1 minute walk 🚶‍♂️ away

best Detroit-style pizza in the west. I took my wife here for their Valentine’s Day special and the meal and service was 10/10, and they were very accommodating with my requests to set up a bouquet/balloons etc for her. just really great food served by really great people.

I could and would probably eat their delicious pizza everyday if it was open everyday. This place is fantastic.

The food was fine, deep dish but nothing that really stood out. It was about a hour wait and the place had their garage door open making the room extremely cold

Friendly staff and great food. The pie is consistently amazing with good quality toppings and great flavor. They have some fun choices ready to order or you can make your own. If you have time they have a full bar and take pride in mixing drinks. Glad they are in the neighborhood

Probably one of the worst pies I've ever ate. Asked for light cheese over the phone and the lady said she would do her best? Weird. I ordered the la casa pizza and it was like eating a loaf of wonder bread covered with cheese and mushrooms. Absolutely disgusting.

To be honest, I was hesitant to try this pizza, not because they're new but because I'm not a fan of thick crust pizza. Tacoma Pie made me a convert. For a thick crust pizza, it to me was very light. Crunchy outer crust with a pillowy crumb. Just enough sauce, cheese and topping that leaves you craving another bite. It's very reminiscent of my travels to Italy. I first tried them in October, it has now become part of my weekly routine to have a pie from here. Call ahead to order, but bring a pizza cutter, because you won't want to wait until you get home.
