Chicago has many Mexican restaurants: Flaco Tacos, Taco Burrito King, Frontera to name a few. But those places aren't always easily accessible. Taco Maya is next door to where I live and so I go there out of convenience. It's two steps above a Taco Bell as they have authentic ingredients and menu items. But the food isn't memorable, unless your memory is that you're hungover and your options for food is a microwave burrito from 711 or a real burrito from Taco Mayo. I think the choice is obvious.

Disappointing. Steak tacos were bland. Wouldn't even pay $2 for those tacos. The alpastor is fine. Guac isn't that good :(
