It's rare to find truly delicious cauliflower tacos in Florida but this place nailed it! Spicy, with crunchy slaw on corn or corn and flour tortillas. So incredibly yummy! Beautiful outdoor setting, and attentive wait staff, too. Dog friendly, too! Only downside...the rice is a mushy, tasteless Rice-a-Roni type side dish. Surely spices and proper cooking time can be used.

Margarita with ginger syrup, and full size wings? Yes please. Definitely get the Salsa Macha.

BEST Sangria in town! This little Spanish Tavern has some of the best authentic Sangria. The atmosphere is always inviting and the bar is set up in a way that patrons of the bar become instant friends. The staff is friendly and the food is fabulous. My favorite go-to restaurant whenever I'm in the area!

Our server Amanda was amazing. We did not have to wait long for our seating in the beautiful patio. We also met with our server promptly and she was a delight from start to finish. The Nachos are complimentary but try the loaded nachos on the menu, they are unforgettably delicious. My brother is vegetarian and had lots of options. We greatly enjoyed the avocado rice and the spanish rice. Be sure to try both. Buffalo cauliflower was yummy for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. But I have to say, Taberna del Caballo KNOWS how to cook meat. The slow roasted pork is unlike anything I have tried in the world (I travel a lot). I don't even like pork but this restaurant made me love eating it again. Will be back! Loved it here. Awesome service.

Visited this town and this restaurant for the first time. But, oh boy... First, I came in with Pizza for my kids ( nothing in their menu which my kids could eat) and without asking that if we want to order or not, their sever “Tiler K†asked us to go... we mentioned that we are going to order food anyways. We ordered drinks, entree & patata fries. No problem with the food & drinks. It’s the attitude, I asked their server to change the fries as they were covered with paprika and my kids would not touch it. He took it back and what I got in return was BROKEN FRIES ALMOST LIKE LEFT OVERS 🤬 , I asked why they are broken and he said that’s how they are, really... why all other around me have fresh sizzling fries while mine are cold broken and with a little sauce on some. I don’t know if it’s racial discrimination or may be the attitude of server. But, my family surely had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

Quick service and tasty food. I had the Taberna Layered Nachos with pork and my wife had the Patatas Bravas. Not only are the portions big you get chips and salsa while you wait for your food. I'm sure we'll be back to explore the rest of the menu!

Patty is hands down one of the best servers we have ever had, anywhere. She was kind, quick, and just amazing. Hang on to that one!

Mm-hmm... Pork, Bread & a ton of Bricks! So, is that what it takes to make a good Cuban Sandwich? No, not a ton of bricks, just one brick will do the job! After traveling for 22 days throughout the state of Florida, finally I came across an authentically good Cuban Sandwich... and it is just for that reason, I’m giving Taberna del Caballo, a well deserved five stars. After all, not even in little Havana I could find a good Cuban sandwich; the three that I had there, to the garbage they went!

The food was decent, but the ambiance was very cool. We waited for quite awhile at our table to be greeted. There is only one women's and one men's bathroom which made for some interesting wait time while we were there.

The place was absolutely packed, but the servers and staff were still highly attentive, kind, and helpful. The food was an unexpected highlight of our trip... it may have been one of the BEST Cuban sandwiches we've ever eaten, and that dating something because we lived in Miami for 30 years. We'll definitely be back!

Great authentic Spanish food in a very nice, inviting environment. Tapas, home made sangrias, white and red, in and outdoor sittings, friendly staff. Great location.

So this place looked “lit†as the youngsters would say. So we decided to go in and were seated within 5 minutes. Took about ten minutes to get our drinks ordered and by that time we were ready to order our food. Anyway, the waiter seemed to be very distracted. Food took way to long for some what seemed to be microwaved rice and beans. The carne asada was good but it doesn’t take 45 minutes to cook that slab of meat.

Only got drinks but it was so nice! Vivienne was our bartender and took excellent care of us the entire night, definitely recommend the specialty shots. The Irish green tea was the featured one that we got and loved it.

A great restaurant in the heart of old St. Augustine with outdoor or indoor seating and amazing food. Definitely worth a stop as you're shopping or browsing near St. George Street.
