Great Chinese Food. I had the fish in black bean sauce. It's one of my favorite dishes that I always use as a benchmark. They nailed it! Accompanied only with their delectable house fried rice. Both dishes hit the spot. Im excited to return to try their crispy noodles or roast duck.

Really yummy! The Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup is rated a 3 chili pepper spice level but really wasn't spicy at all (I'm half Vietnamese , half Caucasian for reference). The soup dumplings we're slain and I'd definitely recommend them! They took a while to get to the table and we had to ask for chopsticks and weren't provided with proper Asian soup spoons until the dumplings came out which made the noodle soup difficult to eat. All in all would go back again but definitely not my favorite place

Popped in this place for lunch for a quick bite. The service was friendly and fast. The food was delicious although just a little on the salty side. The hot and spicy soup is definitely a popular and delicious choice. Will definitely return again!!!

Some of the best Chinese food in Portland. Only thing I have to add is that it seems a lot of folks said the spicy items weren’t that spicy: I have a pretty high tolerance for spice, and the Szechuan shrimp is def at the upper end of my spice preference (but sooo good). Give it a go!

One of my favorite types of food is authentic Szechuan food. This place does a great job at capturing the flavor, but is not as spicy as one expects when it comes to Szechuan. The staff is nice and the food is delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone that is curious, knows the food and loves it, or just loves a bit of heat with good flavors. I personally love the pork belly on garlic sauce appetizer, and the traditional chicken dish.

Very good. I eat here mostly for lunch. Food always comes out well prepared and piping hot. I've noticed some inconsistencies, especially with soups. Wait time is good for lunch but can be a bit long. I'm a fan of the mapo tofu and spicy eggplant.

So freakin' good. Best & most authentic Chinese food in Portland. Every time I visit, this is the only place I want to go. Just go there. Get the eggplant and the chicken with all the red peppers in it. And the ma po tofu. And the green beans. Basically everything in this photo. Go!

This place used to be a lot better, but since they moved - or perhaps due to the virus - it's gone downhill. We got string bean chicken, and while the flavor was good, there wasn't much sauce so it was dry, and the string beans were a bit wilted. The Szechuan spare ribs (pictured) were 80% peppers, 15% bone and 5% meat (which was dry, tough and not particularly flavourful). They were even pretty mean with the boiled rice (enough for 2 but not enough to go with leftovers). $28 for 2 meals isn't exactly cheap either.

Finding a place in Portland that does good Xiaolongbao is super tough, this place does it quite well! Beans were great, spare rib was good (if slightly overcooked) and everyone else really enjoyed their other dishes. Booths were setup in a way that even my 90 year old grandma could hear us and join in the conversation which is a massive plus.

Very very good. The eggplant I had was well-made. There’s a strong five spice with a significant part being Szechuan pepper, so be prepared for that. It’s not unexpectedly hot, but there is that... numbing taste. I like it but some don’t! Otherwise, great food at a reasonable price in a clean place.

A bit too greasy and salty even by Sichuan standard. But portions are big and flavour is a bit above average. The quality of their White rice is below average though.Probably won't return.
