Food was great! I sampled everything and loved everything that I had. The chicken is actually seasoned (coming from San Diego, it was a surprise)! Cornbread was sweet but homemade, not Jif! I just enjoyed my experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend getting your soul food fix from here!

GREAT FOOD!!! We brought our guest here after our conference... Our of 12 enjoyed juat about everything... It took awhile for our food to be served because they cook it fresh... When we received our food it was piping hot and EXCELLENT... Everyone in our party was satisfied and enjoyed their visit...

I don't know what happened to this place. We came here once before for my husband's birthday when it was Sweet Tea's. Food was good. Good sweet tea and lemonade. But when we went this time to MISS TEA'S every thing was salty. My pork chop was cold and covered in store bought gravy. The Mac and cheese was just not good and salty. The sweet tea was syrupy and the lemonade was made with lemon juice from the little fake lemon.

The food was wonderful, season just right. Hennessy wings were banging and the pork chops were so tender I didn't even have to use my knife. The waitress we had was on point too. She actually made a half sweet/half unsweet tea for me. We also meet the chef, he delivered cornbread fresh out the oven to our table since it wasn't ready when we first ordered. Amazing. Perfect choice.

My fiance' and I love this place. The food is good, the drinks......Wow! I had a bay breeze and he had a long island and Stella Artois beer. The food......delish! I had the liver and onions and he had the fish (whitening) and chicken with rice & gravy and mac & cheese on the side. The deco is beautiful and the bathrooms are CLEAN!

Normally when a restaurant switch names the quality of the restaurant changes, however, the food is still AMAZING and our waitress Marcella was outstanding. She made sure we had everything we needed as well as was not overcrowding or interrupting my husband and I conversation. It’s really hard to find true southern soul food in Hampton Roads area, HOWEVER, we’ve finally hit the Jackpot💕

Went to Sweet Teas while coming back from VA Beach. The food was good, I had the fried chicken and Whiting combo platter. My sides were greens, mac and cheese and I ordered the sweet potatoes since other reviews said they were good. The sweet potatoes were delicious, the other sides were tasty. Unlike the other reviews I can't complain about the service. The waitress was attentive just not personable.

The menu is limited, most was fried food (chicken, fish, porkchops... ). They had baked chicken and meatloaf also. The meatloaf was good, the people were really nice, just not my favorite food (but they didn't advertise falsely - it is called Southern Cuisine, right?). So if you like that kind of food, it would probably be perfect.
