What a great "down home" kind of restaurant!! Came by it by accident, but will definitely go back!We both had the cinnamon roll waffle. Wow! There went my New Year's resolution. Oh well. It was worth it.😄 And we couldn't have asked for a better waitress than Danielle. Every other waitress in this country should take lessons from her. The staff was setting up the lunch buffet and everything looked delicious! We'll be back to try lunch for sure. While there, 4 working guys came in who apparently are regulars because as soon as they walked in, Danielle had their beverages of choice poured and ready before they asked. Just like I used to do when I was a bartender many, many years ago!🙄Do yourself a favor and make a point of going to the appropriately named restaurant, Sweet Southern Comfort.

Small town big restaurant. Well, not size big, but flavor big. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had and I've had more than some. The greens were superb as were the beans with sausage. It's great when you're out of town working and find a place like this.

Went to get lunch, my favorite on Wednesday. Is Meatloaf mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad. I was there at 1 they were out of meatloaf their salad was stale, the ice tea was stale, and they were out of potatoes and gravy. My last trip there.

cafeteria style food & my mash potatoes were cold & lumpy! Seating is crowded can't walk between tables & staff is the most unfriendly group of people I have ever seen in a food establishment. Would give them a minus!!!
