We came to Sushi Ya on a whim and were not disappointed. Service was quick, our drinks were very good and the sushi was incredibly fresh and tastey. We ordered the Sushi for two, the black cod was delicious I wish we had gotten more than two pieces. Cannot wait to come back!

The menu has more than just sushi. There were salads and dumplings. I ordered a sushi roll with a seaweed salad, both of which were tasty.

It sounds like a Japanese sushi place, but it's a pan-Asian restaurant run by a family from China; the dad makes six kinds of dumplings from scratch daily, they serve the tea their family raised back in the old country, and the sushi bar has very serious fans who come all the time for not-easily-found items like hamachi. It has a new outdoor garden, and since they have a liquor license, it's a cool place to hang. It's in a strip mall but doesn't feel like it, it's nice.

The best sushi in Maryland! We take everyone visiting the area here. The fish is always extremely fresh. They have fantastically-priced lunch special with soup or salad, an appetizer and any 3 rolls for around $12.

Love the sushi. I use to go too the other sushi spot across the street all the time but now I go here! Best service I’ve probably ever had. I totally recommend to go here. (PS.Get the shrimp tempura with cream cheese you won’t regret it and their strawberry lemonade that mint was really good)
