Such an excellent sushi course with melt in the mouth fish.. enveloping a pillowy bed of warm vinegared rice. The respect given to all the top-notch ingredients was evident, and we enjoyed every minute of the culinary experience. Many thanks to Head Chef Yamaguchi and the Sushi Wakon team for looking after us!

This is such a wonderful experience! Every piece was just sublime. Head Chef Masashi Yamaguchi is masterful and so skilled that I had to ask for seconds. His style is expectedly similar to Jiro’s - perfectly vinegared rice to bring out the sweetness of the fresh seafood and the ideal rice to fish ratio. Thank you for the great experience at your restaurant, and your down-to-earth manner put my friends and I at ease. I recently had such a bad experience at Uchitsu when the head Chef threw such a hissy fit that it almost ruined our Tokyo trip. So thanks for helping us regain the confidence in Japanese chefs! :):) Highly recommended!

You can find other sushi restaurants anywhere in Japan for a smaller budget and the same taste. Aside from that we ordered a 3900Â¥ sake but they charged us for a 6500Â¥. So check your bill before leaving the building otherwise you can get a surprise.Very dissatisfied.
