One of the best place to eat. Fresh sushi and rolls at a reasonable price. Sakedon was sooo good

Lovely staff, nice couple of beers available, clean place. All important, sure. What really matters though, is the fish. I tend to eat sashimi, so freshness matters. The fish here is some of the freshest, most flavorful fish I've ever had. If you're looking for sushi around Georgetown, find this little place with the tiny sign on the canal. So worth it.

Great food and service! Very small sized place so you might call ahead if you've got a group of people over six or so.

Had the pleasure of stopping by with a friend and was quite impressed with the quality to price ratio! Very affordable, a rarity for Georgetown, and the sushi is good. The beer and sake assortment has some variety you won’t see in many Japanese restaurants. A relaxed atmosphere and no doubt one of the hidden gems of Georgetown!

Oh this is such a fun stop! Authentic meals, drinks and snacks that we used to enjoy so much on the mainland and Okinawa, Japan. Excellent and can't wait to come back!

Bluefin Sushi serves up a wide range of affordable and good rolls. Many rolls are within $6, but watch out for their “special menu” with more creative combinations that cost a bit more. They also have a good selection of saki. It’s located on a pedestrian walkway along the C&O Canal.

This is probably my favorite sushi place in D.C. It's a cute little two-story shop tucked away in a corner along the canal, which makes it really easy to miss, but it's absolutely wonderful. The food comes out pretty quickly and the staff is incredibly friendly and kind. Both their regular and specialty rolls are fantastic and the prices are really reasonable, especially for a sushi restaurant in Georgetown. Both the classic and spicy versions of their tuna, salmon, and scallops are fantastic, and I've had great experiences with their Volcano Roll (which is a California roll topped with spicy tuna and jalapeno) and Black Dragon Roll (which is a shrimp tempura, spicy crab, and cucumber roll topped with eel). If you're looking for something warm and deliciously unique, their Baked Scallop Roll (which is a California roll with cream cheese and topped with scallops) is to die for.

I like this place. The sushi is actually delicious. Only reason for a 4 star is because the place is so tiny it’s hard to have conversations without the other people listening. It’s as if we’re all sitting in the same table. Other than that the sushi is good

I've been to hundreds of sushi restaurants. These range from hole in the wall places to $500 omakase. Bluefin is simply the best sushi I've ever had in my life. Many Americans don't understand that sushi fish shouldn't be hours old but properly and hygienically aged for a couple days to bring out the best flavor and texture. These guys absolutely nailed it. The rice was seasoned perfectly and had exactly the right texture, which many sushi chefs never achieve. The staff were relaxed and polite. I can't stress enough that I've had world class sushi before and I truly believe this unpretentious and relaxed restaurant deserves a Michelin star for their outstanding and authentic quality.

I loved everything. But I think the volcano roll and the spicy salmon rolls were the best!
