Sushi Tao

When we sat for lunch we were given our menu with the lunch suggestions up. It was around 1 on a Sunday, so I was surprised. I asked if they were serving lunch specials & our server answered in the affirmative. We made our choices & prepared to order. Another server approached and told us we wouldn’t be allowed to order lunch because it was a holiday (Father’s Day). I’m all for made up holidays but telling two women no after saying yes - I’ll admit my chagrin is disproportionate to the crime but what I wanted was only available as a combo on this menu. Grrrrr. For this alone I’d like to take away a star, but I won’t. The edamame was remarkably underdone, under salted & took forever. The salad was gorgeous with tons of avocado & a nice ginger dressing served on the side. The sushi was acceptable. Not awful, but not a place I’m prepared to rush back to. :(

So delicious, chicken fried rice is the best I have ever had! Sushi is always fresh tasting and the service is probably the best part. This will now be our regular spot for sushi.

The staff is fast friendly and attentive. The food is beyond amazing and beautifully put together. I have a new favorite place and will definitely visit often.

One of my favorite restaurants. It's my go-to sushi in Fort Worth for every occasion. Try the two piece black tuna appetizer. Say hi to Joy and Susie!

anything above a 2 is a big stretch. nothing spectacular . I would pay a little more for good food than atmosphere. don't need the "high brow" crowd to let me know that " this place is great". The same people that say Joe T. Garcia has great Mexican food and ole south pancake house has good food.

Very attentive service and the sushi was delicious. Very pretty sushi rolls. The spider roll was great and everything was great.
