Sushi Kan

I love sushi kan. Easily my go to for sushi when I'm in Ottawa. They are efficient and the food tastes great. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the condition of the bathrooms. Not the cleanest I've seen and could use improvement.

I don't know if it was because we were a larger than normal group. But my experience was probably the worst one I've had at a restaurant. You order using pieces of paper, then they bring the food 1 plate at a time. It's a great concept don't get me wrong. But not when we were asked to put specific numbers for which part of the table and then the food doesn't get to us. Not to mention that half our group never even got their food they ordered. We also had to ask for our drinks 3 times just to get them. We kept getting told, "i'll tell the staff". Most unorganized place I've been too. Food was good though. But i can't recommend if you gave a group of 10+.

Good food. Inconsistent service. I recommend the Volcano rolls.

The calamari, bulgogi beef and scallops are delicious, all the other food is good too but those three items are what keeps me coming back for more! Good service and fair prices.

Food was quick, warm and delicious. I am a teriyaki fan and found the teriyaki to be not as sweet as I like it, but to each is own.

Cozy place with a great variety of sushi and non sushi foods. Reasonable prices around $19 inclusive taxes on the weekend lunch.

Service was great. Some dishes lacked flavor.

The food was served fast as they could serve in 2 sec, however, I doubt everything was fresh because I kept hearing microwave working to heat something up. And the servers chose to ignore us somehow, their eyes were just up to the sky lol

Place is ok. Some of their dishes including the shrimp skewers are frozen, you can taste it as well as the chicken teriyaki.. Prices are way to high as well

Pretty good service, I mainly go here for their unique sushi rolls, such as the fire dragon roll that has torched butterfish. So good!! Their ice cream is also delicious, but every time I go, I order at least 3 cappuccino mousse cakes. Definitely one of my favourite all-you-can-eat sushi spots in Ottawa.

Very run down, but sushi was surprisingly alright. It's a good compromise if you're in the area, craving sushi
