Being a hoboken native, I have tried all the sushi places in town. I absolutely love sushi House here on 1st. The sushi is always super fresh and they always have generous lunch specials. My go to is the any 3 roll lunch special for $12.95 that comes with soup or salad. The staff is always super friendly and inviting. Nice intimate vibe to relax and enjoy in. Highly recommend!

This place constantly delivers. They have great food for fair prices, there is no waiting time even when they are packed.

First time I went and I loved it. Already planning to go there again. The atmosphere was very quiet and calm. Very soothing, nice choice of music. The setup was all nice. Not too crowded, but don't think it'll make a difference because there's enough room and no one would be in anybody's way. Fried ice cream- must try every one

It's an OK place. Had a Groupon and got two rolls and a starter. Sushi was pretty average. Not the best one I had

Favorite sushi place in Hoboken! Have been going here for a couple years now and never disappoints! Waiters always have great menu suggestions!

It pains me to say it, but over the years this place seems to have lost its mojo. Used to be my favorite sushi in Hoboken but the quality of cuts seems to have decreased. The local competition (within two blocks) is better these days

The Gyoza (pork dumplings) are fantastic. Sushi is slightly above average. We went on valentine’s day and seemed to be understaffed, so service was slower than normal.

I went late at night and their sushi was still fresh so that's something. Small place but tasty sushi ðŸ‘

We came on a Tuesday and the place wasn’t packed but there were 3 other tables taken. There was only 1 server, which was very quick to help us. They have good lunch deals. Food was okay, presentation can use a little bit more improvement. The raw food wasn’t top quality but I appreciate that it was “fresh†meaning they store/handle it correctly. The beef teriyaki needed a little bit more seasoning. You basically get what you pay for. Another thing, maybe they can put on some music because it was quite weird eating in random silence.. or hearing the other table’s conversation.

Cozy sushi spot on downtown Hoboken with warm weather patio seating. I am obsessed with the Anniversary Roll and have had it three times in the past week. I wanted to order the Dean today too, but didnt want to come off as greedy. Next time Sushi House. Next time.

I just finished eating my postmates order. idk if it’s the fact that it wasn’t in house but i wasn’t too fond of the food. The rice felt undercooked and the food was warm, but again, i’m unsure if this is due to the fact that it was delivered and not in house.
