Sushi Gawa

I can't say enough about how good this sushi restaurant is. There is no better sushi restaurant in town! The fish melts in your mouth and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Such a hidden little gem!

Omg the food was great.The teriyaki chicken meal came with rice, veggies, salad, and orange slice with cilantro. Everything was evenly separated from one another.The sushi rolls I had was the best I've ever ate in Illinois.Prices were not bad either. And if you're military or a veteran, as long as you ask n have your ID, you'll get a discount as well. The food was absolutely better than any Chinese restaurant I've ever gone too tho.

The uni sushi was the freshest item in my order. Salmon and negi-hamachi were noticably fishy. The rest were ok but poor quality for the price.

Service was excellent. We were seated at sushi bar on request. Sushi chef answered my questions as well as waitress. The food was fresh and tasty. The presentation was excellent. I will visit every time I'm in Peoria. Well worth it.

The cuisine in this place and atomsphere is quaint and amazing. The sushi and appetizers are both great ways to experience this restaurant. We love the light tempura vegetables and egg roll too. Located in the Westlake shopping center. Everything was done perfectly, from the green tea and miso soup to the unagi. Great quality fish, wonderful service, lovely decor. Can't wait to come back. Wonderful sashimi presentation with variety. Super Fresh. Good value for the price. My new go to place for sushi in the area! Only drawback is limited saki selection. Yummie!

This is now my favorite Sushi place!! Amazing food with a great staff!! The inside is cute anything a relaxing environment! I highly recommend eating here if you are in the area

Excellent sushi with a well staffed bar. Sushi came out very fast and delicious

To start, service was great! Great selection of everything. I had the dynamite roll, which was phenomenal. I also had the spicy crab and the crunch rolls, which were also excellent. Great deal for great sushi.

Honestly, this is the best sushi in Peoria. I’ve tried the others, come here. This is it.

I really like this restaurant. Easily the best sushi that I've had in this area. Staff was quick and courteous, never left me waiting for a refill it tending to my needs. Good tasted great and was very nicely presented.

A delicious, varied menu with great service!

Very fresh and delicious sushi! Took my girlfriend here for date night and we both enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! Very quick and efficient staff. We were greeted with smiles and had a great server! Will definitely be coming back again!
