This place is absolutely horrible. They discriminate against the disabled community, but only after you spend $100-$200 at their business. Then they will come up to you and publicly humiliate you for asking for a chair to sit down. When you write a bad review they either delete your comment, block you and then they write fake reviews to keep their business looking good. Don't support this place, they don't deserve to be running if they can't even accommodate to all customers needs. If you look at the recent reviews below mine, you can tell that their fake because they're going against everything this review is saying.

Best bar in downtown Tucson, hands down! Juniper the bartender was so perfect! Friendly, good pour, intelligent and charismatic AF. Love this place so much. Let's not forget about the best jukebox in Tucson.

I've been going to the Wench for several years now and it's become my new permanent place since Fly closed down. I've always loved the diversity that i notice while I people watch and have never felt uncomfortable... even when I'm the only one dressed in bright colors on fineline nights. I've gotten to know both owners and staff over the years and have formed lasting friendships both with staff and strangers I've meet there. It's my safe place to go when meeting a blind date as well as just going out solo. They don't ever have an issue when i do my sober months and just go out to socialize. While I know surly may not be everyones shot of whiskey but if you've thought about checking them out I say go for it you may find a new favorite place..

Excellent atmosphere. Reminds me of Vieles Planet in Springfield IL. Most of the bartenders are great. We had a bad one last night that others picked up the slack for. Excellent drinks.

I love going to the place! It's one of my favorite spots on Fourth Avenue. Great music and the staff are awesome!

Fun local hangout with various events. Only 4 stars because drinks are watered down/don't contain much alcohol.

Last night while in town I went with friends to a Burlesque show. As The show was about to start, someone named Kate stated she was the owner and began literally taking the chairs out from people who were disabled and elderly. She made a scene and ruined the evening. It was absolutely deplorable! I will NEVER recommend this place or visit again!! I would give negative stars x5 if I could! Save yourself a night out you want to forget. Disheartening, support local elsewhere.

Their cocktails are amazing - Southern Bondage is deadly!

We had a great time at an 80s themed dance party. The staff was friendly, the bartenders knew their stuff, and the group of six of us enjoyed it thoroughly.

Bartender was friendly and asked if she made my drink sweet enough - never been asked before. However, bar itself was dirty, wet and never wiped down. Whole place looked dingy. Would not return.

Good bar, good music, better than Congress with less people so you don't feel packed in. Bartenders are great, it's the best 'have a couple drinks and dance' bar on 4th...
