Surin 280

Surin 280 is my go to Thai restaurant. It has a large selection of Thai and Sushi favorites. When you visit try to order a varied selection. This visit I ordered Three Flavored Fish. It is a lightly fried fish With a very flavorful sauce over a bed of broccoli. Another recommendation is the Thai BBQ chicken. I try to vary up the appetizers and this week it was the basil spring rolls. The service is always excellent. The wait times can vary depending upon the time of day you go, But since I tend to go head off peak hours the seating has always been quick.

If you’ve never have Surin 280, you’re missing out on BHam’s top 5 restaurants. Ray Charles could pick something out on the menu and you would enjoy it! Diego and Encore are some of the friendliest bartenders I have met in 39 years, really about 20 years... ask for extra eel sauce with the super crunch and you have a game changer! The beef masaman will make you a regular as will the friendly service if you don’t sit at the bar. I have so much respect for this establishment and it’s a must try if you haven’t!! 10 stars!!

We enjoyed our lunch at Surin 280. We had the spicy basil leaves, pot stickers, eggplant noodles(lunch only) and a kids chicken fried rice. It was all good, and our service was as well. They have a full bar and sushi as well.

Surin never disappoints. The food is excellent every time I go and I can't remember having a bad experience with the service either. The Pad Prik Pork and Chicken Noodle Bowl are must haves on the lunch menu. For dinner they have excellent sushi and many other dishes. Definitely give it a try if you have not and if you have you know already!

I always enjoy Surin 280. I've tried several of the menu items from sushi to their Thai Bar-B-Q chicken. Everything was just top notch. Oh, one the coconut soup is excellent. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting and the service is excellent. Prices are moderate, very affordable considering the quality of the food and the service. I highly recommend Surin 280.

The spicy beef salad is a longtime favorite of mine, but I decided to try some new items this evening. I chose the dim sum as an appetizer and it was fantastic. I would order it again with some soup to make a meal. I also tried the Fried Rice with Chicken. I have had Basil Fried Rice at other Thai restaurants, so I was hoping for something similar even though Surin uses cilantro in their recipe. The fried rice was okay, but not was I was hoping for. It was a very generous serving of rice with two pieces of tomato, some onion strips, only two or three pieces of chicken and very little egg. I could not taste the cilantro at all. I would not order the fried rice again.

Surin is going above and beyond to provide outstanding service even with everything going on. Our server was professional and the food was amazing. They've got it set up so no one is near each other and have handled themselves well!

We had an excellent time at this spot. We liked the fantastic atmosphere and the food. The staff were super personal. I’m content we finally decided to visit this spot.

This restaurant is wonderful and spacious, the meals was delightful and the rates were very economical. quickly, efficient service and very attentive staff members. Will definitely recommend this place.

Really good food. Not bad for the price. Had a hair in our food, but they remade it and fixed it right away. Staff was very friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend.

When my Mom AND I get time we lunch together. We don't have to ask one another where to eat..... That's a given! What also is a given, We BOTH get The Spicy Beef Salad. Great service and the Coconut Soup is freaking wonderful!!!😘

Fantastic atmosphere. I usually get sushi but the entrees are fantastic. Worst thing I could come up with is the waiter was somewhat of a newbie but that didnt hinder the experience too much. Would highly recommend

Going here shows you how a chain restaurant is started and can be good. The service was really good and the space is big and open - it can be good for a date or a large group. I'd avoid the sushi/sashimi since it's pretty generic but their cooked food is really good. The Spicy Coconut Soup is delicious, I had the one with Tofu. I had the Shrimp in Roasted Pineapple as my entree and it was amazing - it was a great balance of sweet and spicy. I'd eat it all the time if I could. My girlfriend got the lamb during our visit and they overcooked it but were super nice and re-cooked it to medium-rare when we told them.
