Great little hole in the wall. Great steak Hoagie. Not the best I've ever had but still a worthy inclusion. The staff was good and helped out when asked for opinions or information. Overall recommended. Personal opinion.

Great authentic subs BUT JUST ONE THING...bring your own sub dressing or oil/vinegar & seasonings bc they don’t have any ?!?!?!?!?!?

Every sub I've had here is delicious. You pay close to the same thing for a sub and chips as other sandwich places but they give you enough food for almost two meals. I love that they have big chip bags with varieties you don't see in most places. My favorite sub shop in Duval.

Hands down best cheesesteak I’ve had in JAX. They’ve got other good subs, but it’s hard not to order the cheesesteak because it’s so good.

Sammies and Hoagies are huge! Everything we had tasted fantastic. It is definitely a hidden gem!! We will visit again next time we are in the area.

I love this place. It's a no frills dinning experience with a straight forward staff and menu. Everything is made to order with minimal wait time. I highly recommend this place for anything on the menu. My personal favorite is a regular cheese steak and I think it's the best cheese steak in Jacksonville by far. The portion size for their meats is generous and well worth the cost. I will continue to frequent this establishment for as long as possible.

Best Steak subs in JAX ! The staff is very friendly especially the young girl that takes your order! She always wraps up your sub to go if you can’t finish it and gives me extra garlic mayo! You will not be disappointed with this place! Now I want a steak sub ! Haha

Spent some time at the beach and stopped in on the recommendation of my coworker. Ordered a crab sandwich and a Cuban sandwich (hey, I skipped breakfast and ate late). Really good, fresh stuff. Wish they had a steak in a sack for my wife but other than that they have a pretty big and varied selection. I'm always on the lookout for sandwich places so I'd highly recommend Surfwiches.
