Surf City Fishery

Well run. Good product. Ownership have several other food establishments in the area (Mud City, Old Causeway etc). Seems to make sense to be your own fish monger.

I have been a customer here for 25 years. This is a locally owned, community grounded business that warrants respect. Excellent local products, good people and pretty darn good fishing advice if you need it ;)

Always good fresh seafood and the Brothers are always friendly and helpful. They have been there a long time and hopefully for a long time to come. JEFFD.

Reasonable selection of fish. Better selection of shell fish. Prices are a bit steep. Fish quality... Not sure it would be my first choice compared to other places on the island. Downgraded to 3 stars after visiting another. The halibut here looked a bit grey & thin by comparison. Also not sure why they sell wet-packed scallops. Obviously there's a market for the cheaper shellfish, but the taste is so much better with dry-pack (which they also sell for about $5 more per pound -- totally worth it when you understand you're not paying for water injected into the scallops)
