Surcheros Fresh Mex

The food is good and the service is usually very friendly, but their rewards program is getting on my nerves. Every time I try to use my points the employees give me another obstacle or excuse as to why I can't use my points, always insinuating that it's my fault. This has happened five times now. My review will change when the problem with how the employees handle the rewards program is fixed. I know it's not their fault, they're probably following the orders of their stingy manager.

I had a shrimp and pork burrito special @ $11. The lime sauce on it was so sour that I couldn't eat it. I will try them again and hopefully next time it will be better.

It's great food the place is clean and fresh it's quick we love it.

Everyone in there scene great and it was clean. The spicy garlic salsa is the bomb! I got chips and salsa and vegetarian nachos. Always good and that salsa send it over the top flavor-wise it's so goodEdit:I dined at the restaurant this time instead of carry out. I like this place, but you gotta get a lil tunes going for ambiance. And if you guys start offering beer/wine, you will fill the place up I bet.The food is fresh !

Fresh ingredients, just no meat substitute (tofu).

This place is the best, freshest food I can find in northeast Florida. It is literally like an explosion in your mouth. A flavor explosion of epic proportions. I live in Jacksonville and make the 45 minute drive to eat here. Worth it. You have to try it out. Everything is made fresh daily hence the name - Surcheros FRESH grill.

Very good, Surcheros Nachos are so big it could feed 2 easily. It's like a Mexican version of a Subway but better.

This is the best restaurant ever! It has the best tacos and nachos and best service ever. And the person who owns it is the nicest person ever and he always walks around and makes everyone smile. And I think that everyone in Amelia island should go there I love Surcheros! And all of you people who don’t like this place are dumb.

Great food, very friendly & knowledgeable staff. We didn't have a lot of time for lunch and they expedited our orders very quickly and efficiently! The price was well worth the quality and amount of food. We had the burrito bowls, but with different variations, with different choices of meat, veggies, beans and plenty of other toppings! The Surcheros sauce was a bit spicy for me but very tasty!

Good is prepared fresh right in front of you. Staff is friendly and cheerful making your dining experience that much more pleasant.

First time experience today. I was thoroughly surprised. The food was fantastic, the staff actually looked like they cared to be there, and they treated me like a human being. This island is filled with bad employees at all the restaurants and this was refreshing to say the least. Will be back for sure.

We ate at the Fernandina Beach location on Sadler Road. This was our third time. The food is very fresh and delicious. Unfortunately the service at our location is so bad that my husband refuses to go again. Our meals were carelessly thrown together, items were missing, everything was cold and the one staff member who was trying clearly needed training. The manager was very unresponsive and not helpful. Won’t be returning.

It was my first time dining there and I was greatly satisfied with food and price!
