Sunny Bowl

The place offers a vast range of delicious food. I like eating here. The employees are always very nice, rates are reasonable and the place is always well organised.

Ever since I discovered this place, it has become my favorite restaurant in town. I go there almost every week just to eat the beef bibimbap bowl. Sunny Bowl by far has the BEST beef bibimbap. I have been to a lot of other restaurants and I just can't find any beef bibimbap that is as good as Sunny Bowl's. Sunny Bowl indeed has its uniqueness. The price is reasonable as well. They also give you a small cup of kimchi as the side. I will add it to my bibimbap and mix it with sesame and hot sauce. Believe me, It's just delicious. Everything just blends so well together! I love this restaurant!

Offering competent Bibimbap and draft beer, Sunny Bowl is a solid, inexpensive dining option in Northern Mountain View. It is conveniently colocated with Century 16 movie theaters. The interior is quite roomy, so there is hardly ever any waiting for a table.

Good fast food and service. Hot pot a specialty!

One of my favorite Korean restaurants in Mountain View! The food is fresh the service is quick and courteous and you can customize your order as much as you'd like! There is plenty of seating! And you can seat very large groups here I saw a group of 20 easily accommodated! The Kalbi is my favorite here and I typically get it in the salad version, but if you wanna treat yourself definitely get the hot bowl version especially if you like crispy rice.The beer is also a good value for the area! Parking can be difficult during the typical lunch and dinner hours, but there is always parking in the nearby areas you'll just need to walk a bit more.Definitely worth trying out if you haven't already!

I’ve been here before a few times and the food is ok. I keep coming back because it’s conveniently located near my job site. The service is pretty quick however, they never really smile. They get right down to business, no small talk because they’re busy!!! The hotpots are very good, I’ve tried the veggie, the chicken and the KALBI Hotpot (bowl). Has all the same ingredients with the different meet of your choice. They serve this in a clay pot so it stays very hot throughout while you’re eating. Overall it was ok.

Food was OK. Would have liked a bit more flavor and my friend said he's was a bit dry. Service was good, but there was not a ton of staff

Came here on a Friday night with friends, we were seated quickly but it took a long time for the waiter to take our order. We got the kalbi stone pot and then tuna sashimi hot pot and both were relatively tasty but I found that the tuna sashimi was not as flavored as expected and wasn’t integrated into the hot pot as much as I would have liked. The kalbi had a nice flavor and was chewy but tasty. The rest of the stone pot wasn’t super impressive but they were well cooked in the bowl. Overall, was a good experience and was close to Google campus but might not go again.

Sunny Bowl is spacious and serves fast. The Korean bowls are consistently well done. One thing I like particularly about this place is the option to add/substitute ingredients and customize the bowl to your liking. Pros- consistent quality - serving time - spacious seatingCons- food is average, albeit consistent- slightly pricy

Apparently, this restaurant thinks it is ok to serve customers with cancerous overcooked food. Would never order from this place again!
