SUNMERRY'S, Akabane

Very pleasant bakery with a cozy cafe space on the second floor.

Some nice baked bread and appetizing choices to choose from. Their potato cheese buns were generously stuffed with cubed potato pieces and was pretty filling too. They also sell Koppepan and some nice looking curry pan. Quite convenient from the station and there is an eating area on the second floor if you want to sit down. Certainly a nice bakery in the area.

One of the best place to have breakfast, a brunch or afternoon tea. There is a huge variety of breads, sandwiches, deserts and they serve a superb fresh ground coffee.You can also enjoy a privileged view of Akabane station square in a very charming and spacious space.

It is definitely a rice flour bread shop.It contains gluten, but there is a roll of 100% rice flour (looks like a coppé bread) and a loaf of bread. It is chewy, slightly sweet, and delicious without any ingredients. Rolls are reasonably priced at 120 yen, and bread is 160 yen per piece, but it's fluffy even if you eat it the next day. I like to eat it without baking it, I have never baked it. It's even better to heat the bread roll for the next day in the microwave for about 20 seconds.Occasionally, sweets and side dishes made from this dough are served. It's more like a meal than wheat. I want you to increase the number of types as standard. I personally don't want to sell it out, but please try it!
