Sun Tavern

My favorite restaurant in the area, never disappoints. There’s a pretty good variety of dishes to choose from, from sophisticated entrees, to burgers and fish and chips. Meals are prepared at the moment, with good quality and fresh ingredients, which allows modifications and special requests. Even though vegetarian entrees aren’t on the menu, (but soups and sides are!) the chef will create a special dish for you if requested. The one in the picture was tonight’s dinner: a mix of grains, veggies, and nuts, accompanied by carrots cream.

I love Sun Tavern but for the last 6 months or so The smoke from the grill is overwhelming. They really need to fix the exhaust system properly. We reeked of smoke when we left.

We had the most delicious meal and fun evening at Sun Tavern tonight. Our server, Sasha was the best! Unique drinks and great desserts! We will definitely be back soon.

Nice, historical tavern and restaurant, for a special occasion or just a good dinner. Quaint, rustic, in the woods, low ceilings, nice bar. Great food, upscale but casual attire as well. Reservations recommended.

My parents have raved about the place for so long. I visited the restaurant this week and was extremely displeased with the food. I ordered mussels and calamari for an appetizer and the seafood stew for a main. The mussels were poorly cooked and extremely salty. The calamari was over fired as covered in an sauce that was over whelming and it would have been better on the side. The stew was terrible. The sauce tasted like tomato soup and contained one scallops and maybe 3 frozen shrimp. I am giving the restaurant a 2 because of the excellent services from a waitress named Sasha.

Cute and cozy spot, wonderful ambience, even better food. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is surely one of the best place to eat in the region. Anytime I visit this place I am remarkably pleased. They preserve their very high level service and the highest level of meals they serve. You can never go wrong with this place. Very recommended.
