Kind of really bad service, my table was completely forgotten about and our order took forever, and some items were forgotten completely. Would not recommend.

The veggie sampler platter was a bit bland compared to other Ethiopian restaurants, but the injera and service were great. My friend got chicken and it was mostly sauce, not worth the cost in my opinion.

Excellent service and food here. GF is vegan and she was very pleased with the choices she had and the portions were certainly more than enough for the price; I took almost 1/2 mine home! Chicken was fantastic and literally fell off the bone in the delicious spicy sauce I had. Highly recommend this off the beaten path Ethiopian restaurant for a great dinner out here in Bethesda!

Excellent Ethiopian food in fresh contemporary (non-ethnic) ambiance. They have a modest bar with a small number of Ethiopian beers and wines, as well as a few usual liquors and drinks. I have been many times to Ethiopian restaurants in Silver Spring, but frankly, at CherCher the food itself is a bit better. To my taste their preparations are skillfully spiced, just right amount. Their three sambusas for $6 are nice value and better crafted than at other places.

Chercher Bethesda is a superb restaurant even with additional new authentic menu. Try light chicken d'oro and spicy hot one which is organic. Visited for the fourth time and I found its consistency and quality intact!!

Friendly helpful staff. Good prices. If you're not sure what to get you can get a combo platter. Or ask for a recommendation. We got the 2 meat and 4 vegan combo platter. It was tasty and the spicy entrees weren't too spicy.

Really appreciate that Ethiopian food has come to Bethesda. Good selections, helpful staff, well prepared dishes. Can't go wrong.
