Decent place for set dinner and lunch combination sushi. Rice is warm which I liked. Can be busy so reservations good idea. Downside is theres no dessert menu.

We came across the restaurant by accident and are very happy that we stopped by. Service is excellent. The waiters were attentive and educated in the fish that they were serving. The fish itself was very fresh. They recommended that we dont use soy sauce so that we have the authentic experience. Tip is included in the price. This is very cheap considering the quality of fish and "omakase" style food.

Came here on Sunday, 4pm to escape the rain and snow. The restaurant was pack. Luckily, we are being seated within 10 mins. We ordered Trust Me Lite! Omg, this is the best omakase style that I've had with such a price. I'll definitely come back for 'The Nowaza' or 'dint think. Just eat' for dinner! Maybe to their flatiron location. My friend, a German claimed that that's the best sushi that she ever had in life! I strongly recommended this place!

SUGARFISH is one of my favorite places for mouth watering sushi. It's a reliable and trusted chain with locations all across Los Angeles and now spreading across NYC, SoHo being their second location in the city.The sushi served here is delectable and always satisfying. My personal favorites include the tuna sashimi with a sweet and tangy sauce, yellowtail sashimi, and the albacore belly. For a first timer (or even repeat customer) I suggest going for the Trust Me to get a wide sampling of their menu at a great price.This restaurant does not accept reservations and it is not uncommon to wait upwards of 45 minutes for a table. Service is always top notch, the restaurant offers a dark and romantic atmosphere while not being over the top with sheer opulence.

Impecable fish, service, decor. If at all hungry, trust me is better than trust me lite. Excellent sake as well. Love that gratuity is included, and that the service was super.

Solid sushi, delicious. One ding is for how rude the host staff can be sometimes. Sometimes they are great and lively, other time, not as much.

Good sushi for the price! The pieces aren’t as finely prepared as nearby sushi places, but the flavors are on point and the service is good. Strongly recommend the nozawa preset menu - wide range of fish, cooking styles and flavors covered!

Really good sushi and sashimi. The fish was very fresh. The place was nice and cozy and the service was above average.

Their course menus are super reasonably priced for such an amazing quality sushi/hand rolls. Evening wait could go a bit ridiculous, but if you go for early dinner, you will have a great time.

Overall, the fish is very fresh. Maybe couple of my sushi was overpowered by certain sauce and the rice was falling apart. The assistant manager took care of it. She was amazing and the staff is very friendly. I would go here becAuse the assistant manager was very good and the fish is excellent for the price.

Having been to Japan a few times, it’s always a treat to find places that do sushi as well as Japan! The fish is fresh, not stringy at all like other subpar places. I highly recommend the set menu for variety.

We waited 70 min from 6:45-7:55Dinner: everyone got drinks and a pre-fixe option. 4 Nozawa, 1 trust me, and 1 trust me lite + a la carte.Every piece was incredibly fresh and, thw few pieces with seasoning or sauce was to perfection. Soy sauce not needed. Favorites include:- crab hand roll- lobster hand roll- tuna- salmon- albacoreits a “no tipping” restaurant which means the sushi is an incredible value.If you like good sushi, energetic vibes, and can plan around a wait time - go to SUGARFISH.
