We stopped in on a whim, and were blown away. The dining space is cute and modern, and the sweets are delicious! The bubble waffles are to die for. The staff is helpful and kind.My only complaint is that the space is not disability friendly - it's only accessible by a narrow set of stairs, and is a bit of a sensory overload when your get to the bottom.

Super Good! Place under the street in Georgetown. Great ice cream waffle things, eat with a spoon, one is enough for two to share. How romantic!!Boba Tea was good. We had classic black tea with regular boba, great because it was not sweet.Played Connect Four while we waited. Like this place.

Really good with the waffle and condensed milk, the ice cream isnt the best but all together its a amazing treat!! Will be back!!

This place is amazing. We tried the vanilla and the salted caramel. The salted caramel is the star. I love how fresh the ice cream and the waffle tastes. It is simply must have. Will Definitely come back. I highly highly recommend this place to all those love desserts. Way to go guys!!!!

Great selection of flavors. Especially the fruit flavoured ones. Very good selection of vegan choices as well. And even they taste really good. Definitely worth a visit. The staff is really friendly and offer tasting spoons for all flavours. The bubble waffle cone is a must have.

The bubble waffle was a tad bit pricey, but overall it was really good! The vegan coconut icecream was amazing too! Didn't think vegan ice cream would be so creamy.

Soon to have popping bubble tea. Had to post twice it is so good. Use bubble waffles instead of cones. Yum

Had not had the bubble tea there yet but the egg waffle is absolutely amazing. I went for the matches flavored egg waffle and it's the perfect blent and eggy sweetness and bitter matcha. I also had matcha and chocolate gelato topping with crushed peanuts, chocolate drizzle, and mochi, all combined to give a rich matcha and nutty flavor. Definitely recommend!

If you’ve never had bubble waffles + ice cream, you gotta try it! Also decent bubble tea for dc standards

Yesterday we visited Sugar Lab... GREAT experience! The Bubble Tea was great! We tested a new savory waffle they are developing...so tasty! My other companions had the gelati ...and loved it! When in Georgetown make sure you stop in...the people there are friendly and offer great customer service...

Its brand new. Little hard to find as its located in the basement space. Not easy to spot from the main road. An excellent place for real gelato waffles. Freshly baked waffle wrapping gelato.

I love Sugar Lab bubble waffle and bubble tea. I came in with my friends on a Saturday and they are very busy. I had to wait a little bit for my order because they cooked their waffle fresh. I also got classic black bubble tea. It tasted great, and I loved that I was able to adjust my sweet level.

The ice cream is so good I recommend the lemon & mango !! Yum! The girls up front are soo sweet and the whole store has such a pretty layout , very calming and cute overall! 5 stars from a happy customer :)

Really liked the presentation of the ice cream. The bubble waffle tasted very good. My only problem is that the coconut flakes were super bitter and this kind of dampened the enjoyment of the rest of the dish. The seating area could have been more clean; the bathroom was clean however.
