Beautiful station and helpful employees. Mega bus employees were incredibly rude and acted like I asked for their first born when I inquired about the process(my first time using the bus).

This is a beautiful train station with lots of places to shop and eat. It even has a Uniqlo. When I arrived from New York, however, the escalator going up from the platform was broken and this created a long line for the elevator for passengers with disabilities, strollers, and luggage.

Lovely place with beautiful architecture. Lots of food options on the lower level including Chipotle and a Poke place. Haven’t tried any yet. It’s cozy and warm inside so great place to stroll or shop on cold days. There is parking validation for up to 2 hours which discounts the parking by 50%. Lots of transportation options including train, bus, as well as local transit buses and tour buses.

We went to DC from NYC in a bus so got down at union station. To our surprise the station was splendid.I thought NYC union station was the best so far but this ones not less. The architecture is superb. There are food places too if you have to wait for a train or bus you have all that you need to kill time.Only issue we had was directions to get out of the station as we were going to the Strip of monuments and had hard time getting figuring out the route to get out.

I have always loved the iconic Union Station but I was blown away by the additions and connections that have been made to Metro and Metro-link creating a real transportation center. Now you can reach almost anyplace in the region (except LAX and the Victor Valley - 1 inconvenient Amtrak train) from Union Station. Renovations continue but already you can get some decent snacks and coffee. I had delicious fresh tuna rolls while waiting and followed that with a Starbucks coffee. Very pleasant, good security and just a nice place to wait for transportation. It's too bad Greyhound doesn't provide better service from this transportation center.

One of the best stations I have ever been to. Many good restaurants and cafes to have your break at after travelling and maybe to stop by to buy some food and drinks before travelling (this is very important since usually they don’t serve any on trains of buses). Make sure you take a hot drink with you in winter and cover it very well. You can find DC Metro Red line downstairs inside the station. Additionally, there’s Shake Shack, Chick-fila, Blue Bottle cafe and TUMI for bags and luggage (it’s a bit expensive), and many places. Also, be aware and careful that most shops close by 9pm. Be there before your travel at least by 40-50mins so you can have some time to buy some things and get on your way comfortably.

We went during Christmas break and it was beautifully decorated. It's a different type of station where do many famous stores are there. So many good restaurants are there.

Staff are helpful and professional. Amenities and shops are nice. However, the homeless problem in and outside of the station needs addressed. The pigeons in the station are also concerning, they pose a health hazard.

I’ve been to lots of Union Stations in the States, but this particular one stood out for me. The interior is so beautiful and well decorated, and the sculptural architecture on the exterior is aesthetically finished. I also love the layout and setup of the stores and cafeterias in this place. There’s wheelchair accessible entrance and toilets for the differently able. It’s also pretty close to the road and can be easily noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic. #WheelchairAccessible #UnionStation #WashingtonDC #Stores #Bus #Train #Interstate #Travel

Not necessarily the prettiest of the American train stations. But definitely historic and has pretty arches and halls. There's a food court and other facilities as well as gift shops. And of course is connected to Metro and there is parking behind.

Union station is a beautiful place to visit on your stop in DC, yes it had public transportation, but even more so just to admire its beauty and architecture.
