I will never forget the first time that I sipped a delicious drip coffee in the little garden yard at the back of this coffeeshop. Enough said.

Awesome coffee and the atmosphere is super nice. A lot of people give the owner a bad rep but he's just an old guy trying to do coffee his way, in his store. I was a little thrown off at first but I took it with a grain of salt and now he's really friendly to me and even kept the shop open a few minutes late for me so that I could get picked up and not have to wait in the rain. The coffee is amazing and the ambience is really nice. I like that he has a kind of hard ass demeanor at first because it drives all the annoying customers away and keeps the place nice and charming and unique in a sea of peets, starbucks, philz, and hipster coffee joints.

The Sufi Coffee Shop is a rare find. You won’t taste a better cup of coffee anywhere, and the experience is simply out of this world. The proprietor roasts 2–3 small batches of coffee a week, so it’s always fresh. He waits patiently while you consider the possibilities, then he grinds the beans you request for an individually dripped cup of coffee that you can savor inside or in the delightful outdoor patio. Another house specialty is the Turkish coffee, or you might enjoy one of the many delicious espresso drinks and smoothies on the menu. If you’re hungry for more, you can take your pick of pastries, paninis, and homemade soup.Over the past 11 years, this little gem has enriched the local Mountain View community. It may not be quite what you expect when you cross the transom but if you are looking for a unique haven from the daily grind, you might find it’s just what you need.

An interesting stop on a busy road although its more about Sufism than coffee.

Only go here if you are not in a hurry, because it will take some time, and I do believe they find it personally offensive to be hurried. They're serious about the ambiance of the place being relaxing, the result of which is a quiet, calm spot no matter what day it is. The place reflects the owners, and the owners are one of the reasons I keep going back :) The other reason is the coffee. Everything is (very) small-batch roasted right there, usually in the past couple days at most, and it is the best coffee I've found in a LOT of searching. Excellent single cup drips every single time, without exception. Flavorful, smooth, complex, it's everything coffee should be but almost never is.

The most perfect cup of drip coffee I've ever had - zero acidity, zero bitterness, piping hot and utterly smooth. If you like the smell of coffee but don't like the taste, you need to try a cup at Sufi - it could change everything for you. And, for coffee drinkers, it puts even the good coffee you normally drink to shame and erases any excuse baristas have for the acidic, weak, tepid or bitter sludge they frequently have the nerve to serve you.

This is not your regular Starbucks or even Barefoot coffee roaster, this place is class apart from the regulars. It was almost therapeutic to be here. Soft music, grapevine in the backyard and a ensemble of chairs under a cozy canopy. I loved it on the onset. The coffee is special and brewed fresh. It takes a long time to get it, but it is worth the wait. Not to forget the sweet delights on the counter. Loved the experience. Definitely a lovely little date place :)

Nothing like a leisurely drink in a beautiful garden over the weekend conversation.

Hands down the best coffee I've had in the area. They take the process seriously and patiently, and they work with good beans that they roast themselves. This obviously makes a difference, though it also means you have to be prepared to wait. One person in my group ordered latte and we had to wait 5 minutes just for the old espresso machine to warm up. It was worth it, and I'd go back. They have a quaint summer garden, which looks nice for sitting and reading or to have a (not too loud) chat with friends.

It's not a forgettable experience to be in the Sufi Coffee Shop! Something is going on there. You don't want to leave that place when you are there...Also the foods and drinks are all home cocked and great! I like to go everyday...The manager is so friendly and knowledgeable person...
