The level of care at U.C. hospital in Clifton is disgusting, my brother has been a patient for almost 2 months and the Dr's still don't know anything. I was a patient there for 6days it was horrible i couldn't even get cold water to drink the medical staff sucks big time i wouldn't take my dog there.....

Had to wait 6 hours in the Ed for my mother who had a medicall emergency to be seen and evaluated. A patient ahead of my mother came into the Ed at 3pm and only went in for evaluation at 1045pm. In trying to inquire why the length in wait time, staff unable to give meaningful explanation. This is Unacceptable, especially for a hospital of this Calibre. Will not use this hospitals emergency department any time soon...

How can you love a hospital. My wife had an accident and spent two weeks recovering at UC Hospital. The nursing staff in 3 Ridgeway off Burnet were outstanding. The ER staff at UC Hospital were equally outstanding. The situation positively sucked. The food was not the best according to my wife. But I watched how her nurses and attendants cared for her over two weeks. At least she was an easy patient.

Went here voluntarily because I needed help with my depression, anxiety, and thoughts of suicide. Got to the RN who took my vitals and started asking questions. She then asked me, “you’re going to therapy and you’re taking meds, why are you here?”. At that point I asked if I could leave because if she was any person with logic; she would know the treatment plan ISN’T WORKING! THATS WHY IM HERE LADY! I got my stuff out the locker and went home; had a bottle of wine and a pint of ice cream. As I write this review I am still thinking about offing myself.

I have been going to UC since 2014 have nothing but great things to say. Recently I went and they were able to save my foot! The surgeon said that any other hospital and I probably would have lost it. They just don't know how grateful I am that they were able to save it. So very GRATEFUL

Illegal activity at UCMCWork for the public safety office (police department) and have been ordered to violate the law. To save money, UC Health shuttered it's after-hours answering service for outpatients and the recently discharged, instead these patients are told to call our non-emergency lines. There we are pressured to answer their questions rather than carry out the elaborate process of contacting a physician (as is specified by paper). No one is a clinician of any kind, no one knows these patients or their histories. Who knows what patients have been told and for how long this has gone on, with the full knowledge and blessing of hospital administration. Patient outcomes have definitely suffered, and the facility has made this sacrifice to save money.Clarence pauleyAlan JonesLindsey Cline& Tracy Lightfieldare individually responsible for illegal activity that is harmful to patients, and ultimately incompatible with ethical healthcare.

They saved my life. I had the flu and double pneumonia. The infection was so bad i was not expected to live. The doctors never gave up.

I don’t understand the reviews for this hospital that are negative. I took my son to Clark regional ER for second-degree burns when he got too close to a bonfire and they literally did nothing for him and transferred him to the Cincinnati burn unit in their hospital. And the staff in the burn unit was amazing! They did everything they could For my son and went above and beyond. And then when it was time to take him home, they did a mini session to teach me how to take care of him properly and they sent us home with all the supplies that we would need for the next week or two to take care of his burns, and gave me a sheet of paper that had every number on it that I would need if I had any more questions or if anything happened that I need to contact them. I can’t speak for the rest of the hospital but as far as the burn unit goes, I cannot Give them enough praise for what they did for my son!

The whole Nuerology ICU staff were simply amazing. They were so supportive of all my friends (many which were high schoolers there to support my kids) and family. My husband was treated with all the respect in the world the whole 3 days we were there. I want to give a special thank you to Shaunna Noel, RN and Yousef Raslan, DO who were right by my and my childrens side through the loss of my husband.

I am a long term patient on the OB floor. This hospital is so outdated and does not look, smell or feel clean. My room is not clean. Wiped floor with paper towel and it was black! The room is depressing and not at all appealing to someone who is not well. This is the OB floor where new life begins for a baby. Where is the cheerfulness? The food is absolutely the worse. Pre-made, tasteless, frozen entres. 60 plus years of food service and you still do not have it right! The nurses are good and my doctors are great! Do not think I would ever choose this hospital again. Hospital administrators need to walk the hospital to see what needs to be addressed in their hospitals, that is if they really even care. Surely there are funds to bring this hospital up to date.

Stroke victim with full shoulder replacement.NSICU care was excellent.Step down care was good.Next level down care has less nurse to patient ratio which equates to less individual attention. We had to wait 1.5 for a nurse to address a blood in urine situation.
