nice And lovely buffet place to enjoy breakfast with Disney characters. Just expensive.

They reduced the size of the cornbread! How dare they! Also a buffet, fine I guess but can you at least have better selections? Also we tried entering during a holiday but they weren't accepting walk-ins, disappointing

Had a wonderful experience at the breakfast brunch. As a vegetarian, a lot of the character dining options at the resort are overpriced for such a limited menu, but this was worth it. Delicious food, my favorite was a tie between the caramel French toast and the chilequiles (pretty spicy!), and refills on coffee always sit well with me. We were celebrating two birthdays and our server made it special by bringing a cupcake for each person we were celebrating and sang a little song. Loved the characters that came by to say hi to the kids and play. Will definitely go back for breakfast again!

Didn't realize it was only a buffet now. This used to be my absolute favorite restaurant, I practically grew up here and spent every birthday dinner eating at the place. But now it's a buffet, and a pricey one at that. The were able to squeeze our reservation in, and for that I'm grateful, but for $40/person the food wasn't that great. There wasn't the selection, variety, quality, nor speciality that explains the price. It was still very good food, but I could have eaten in the park for much, much cheaper.

Five stars for breakfast and the attention the cast members pay to all the kids-the singing, hugs and autograph signing is a load of fun. The dinner selection was somewhat lacking some of the choices I expected, and attention to quality control was a bit short of stellar.

( All my reviews are overall) We had two waiters and both were very good. Communication was on point and the drinks were fantastic. We all had the buffet and it was super good. Salads, pasta, Mac and cheese, steak, salmon, desserts, and perfectly made and greatly seasoned. Did wait a moment even with reservation, but it was crowded. Inside there is space. Reservation is highly recommend. One of the better buffets at Disneyland.

Really pricey, even by Disney standards, especially given there isn't a ton of variety. Food is good and you'll get plenty to eat in a fun environment.

this is a review for the non-buffet, non-character lunch. came here for lunch. it's a 2 minute walk (if that) from california adventure, and it's a much much better option to eat here than eating in the park. it's less crowded, easier to relax and enjoy your food, and the price is comparable to table service in the parks. i had the burger, medium rare. it was really good. the bread that is served a priori is really good. the decor, it's disney, so you know it's good

Wow. Great food. Great value (for Disney). Kid friendly, and excellent staff. Mary, our host, engaged my daughters in Disney banter, renewing smiles on their tired and hungry faces and our waitress was very attentive. The salad bar was fresh and well curated. The prime rib, roast and salmon were perfectly cooked and well portioned. The desert selection was simple, but delicious. Pizza, macaroni cheese, chicken nuggets and fresh fruits are staples for the kids. Everybody left happy and full. The theme of the restaurant led to thoughtful discussion for the adults as well. All around great meal stop.

Though it is quite expensive, I found the food, characters, and the atmosphere to be worth the $34 for breakfast. I was greeted by each character and they all brought a smile to my face. Staff are just a nice and mine was kind enough to bring me a small bowl or caramel sauce for my toast. Speaking of toast, OMG!!! TRY THE CARAMEL FRENCH TOAST!!! it is insanely good. Great place, great staff, but expensive.

Fabulous! The food was excellent, even with a limited selection, and the characters were lovely. We came here with two adults, a child and a baby and were worried the characters would be too busy to spend much time with each family. But we got to see each character several times and they were so engaging and really spent time with the kids. Yes it’s a bit pricey, but the value is with the characters and seeing how much they enjoyed spending time with them.

This is a great place to take the family before heading out into the Disneyland parks! The food is way better than standard buffet food! They have the added benefit of having Disney characters roaming through the dining room greeting and spending a fair amount of time at each table. The kids love it, whether they're five or 25 like my own! I have eaten other meals there that were ordered from the menu such as dinner. It was also excellent! The biggest issue is trying to get in. If you are interested, send someone over to get on the list. Then take your beeper and head into the Grand California to sit by the fireplace or in their bar lounge to have a drink.

We came here for my sons birthday and we truly enjoyed having all the characters come up to our table and most of all spent almost 5 minutes making my kids laugh so that was fun the food was good buffet style breakfast just a little fact characters only come out during breakfast time. Mickey waffles were awesome and you can get omelettes made to order. I wish it was cheaper though!! 130 for 4 people was a lot!

Lunch 10/29:Cost $248 with tip. 4 adult prices and 1 Child. I'd do it again for the character experience. If the food was great, I would of gave it 5 stars. PRO: Felt magical!!! AMAZING characters interaction. Not crowded, great staff. Not rushed to leave. Kids could get involved in the parade. Got plenty of pics. CONS: Food wasn't amazing but ok.
