We normally get takeout from the Royal Thai in Northampton but as it's shut on a Monday, we took a trip down to the Stony Stratford restaurant instead. Arriving when it opened at 6pm, it was empty and the guy who served us was attentive and polite but didn't make us feel like he was hovering. The food was as good as any we've had from either the Northampton restaurant or as takeaway and there was enough that we all ate well without leaving lots- even the 3yr old enjoyed pad Thai and prawn toast.We'll be going back to eat in more often, it was a lovely meal.

The food here is well presented and really tasty at a modest cost too.The rest rooms could be cleaner, but over all it made for a good night out.Parking is on the street and a bit limited, but I'm sure there must be a car park not far away.

Have eaten at the Royal Thai on a number of occasions when on business in Milton Keynes. Have always been happy both with the service and quality of the dishes. Other reviewers negatively reference the owners young children in the restaurant but I've not experienced a problem - if present at all they've been well behaved, and unobtrusive. Royal Thai remains on my favourite list in the area.
