Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill

This is one of the better meals you can get in Louisville. Deviled Egg app was 6 almost full eggs. NY strip was cooked and seasoned perfectly, au gratin potatoes where the best side I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The carrot cake is also great, they give you about a quarter of the whole cake.

I was with a group of six on New Years Eve. We started off with the Hot Chicken Biscuits...if you like spicy this is the way to go. It had a grown man sweating. Let me back up. When you sit down at the table they bring these donut like rolls with butter to smear all over them. Fast forward, my husband order the Ribeye (comes with melted garlic butter, yum) and I ordered the jumbo Shrimp both of which melted in your mouth. For dessert (and here is where I should have stopped) each couple ordered the Blondie with vanilla ice cream, caramel, and pecans. We really could have split it 6 ways but we were troopers and ate as much as we could before deciding to take it home for a snack the next day. The ambiance is perfect for special occasions or anytime. Try it, you wont be disappointed!!

For the price, this should be the best ribeye I've ever had, but it wasn't. Good, not great. All the food was good, the service was excellent, with only one minor issue. Would definitely recommend this to anyone else I knew that I thought could afford it.
