There are less than a handful of Korean Restaurants in Milwaukee. I have always been happy with Stone Bowl. They have hours throughout the day, and do not close down in the afternoon, which suits my schedule. Parking can get a little dicy at times, but I have never had to walk more than a block. Traditional korean food served in a great atmosphere by friendly and pleasant staff. Prices are reasonable, and the food is good. There is no real down side!!!

We loved Stone Bowl Grill! Went for a date night to try something new, and it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful dinner, and our waiter was extremely helpful in suggesting some delicious dishes. Great vibe, fast and friendly service, excellent date night location!

I was pretty happy with the food, despite not seeing the server for about 20 minutes because he said he was eating the same thing I ordered. The part that really irked me was that when asked if there were any peanuts or peanut oil in any of the menu items he said "can't help you there." I had to explain that my step daughter is highly allergic to peanuts and could die from ingestion. He eventually realized that he could ask the chefs or anyone else in the establishment to find out. I'm not sure why this was such a difficult thing to do, but all other restaurants we go to are usually very understanding and helpful. I'm sure my next visit won't be so disappointing.

We went to try some Korean dishes. Selection of dishes is not that great. The soups we ordered were like boiled water and the veggies were raw. It literally tasted like hot spicy salty water. Not worth the $$$ price set for the dishes. There is not parking structure. Only street parking on Farwell Ave. Please be careful while parking since Farwell Ave is one-way-only street.

The service at this place was horrible after being served the food was disgusting ask for a manager and try to explain my concerns the manager became irate. Manager hygiene was horrible and clothing as badly soiled. I will not return to this restaurant or will I ever recommend anyone!

Server April is sweet, attentive, knowledgeable. Pretty roomy space inside. Parking can be difficult to find. Food is good. Wide selection. $$-$$$. Take out-yes. Small side portions. Wish they had the fish cake sides more often!

Best Korean food in town. Authentic and priced well. I’ve never had the bbq but everything else is fantastic. Things are spicy but that’s the way it should be. I would recommend getting the dukboki as an appetizer. Maybe my favorite thing on the menu.

Honestly some of the most authentic (and tasty) Korean food I have eaten in Milwaukee. They offer traditional dishes and grill your own options as well. Did not disappoint.

Stone Bowl in Milwaukee is amazing. Visiting Milwaukee and not stopping here would be a crime! The service here is very good, they are quick to greet and sit you and give you the perfect amount of time to order. The food here I second to none, you can tell they take great pride in their dishes. I like how they don’t Americanize the dishes and they have a great amount of spice. I have added some pictures below of some great dishes. The only downfall is parking is kind of a pain, but that’s not really their fault.

Authentic Korean food and taste. Clearly the chef and owner know how to cook, but they took away all the good part, you feel frugal eating here.Any protein in the dish shrink by 30%-50% compare to a regular serving. Size is small.Kimchi is considered extra for side dish. Have to pay extra $3 or $5. ( I don’t remember)Replaced bokki with cabbage, and the egg is missing.I am totally lost.

Probably the best and the most authentic Korean food in Milwaukee so far. The Scallion Pancake with mixed seafood is worth a try! Dukboki (the rice cake) there is one on of the best Dukboki even compared to what I had when I travel to South Korea.Spicy Chicken: spicy and thick, the flavor was superb!most of the dishes are suitable for sharing the vibe the service were also amazing!Highly recommend!

Questions & Answers

If you want the table top grilling, Its enough for 2 full portions. It comes side dishes and I think rice too

No, they do not. If I remember correctly, the only noodle dishes they have are ramen, japchae, kalguksoo, and jjampong as well as stir fried udon with your choice of protein. If you really want jjajangmyeon, Seoul Restaurant has it. Not sure how authentic it is, but it's pretty good.
