Steve's Detroit Deli

Finally folks, a quality deli in Detroit. This is only a storefront at the moment, so it's take-out or sit on the curb, but the owner says he's planning on putting in some seating eventually. No matter, the food was spectacular. I ordered a simple corned beef sandwich, and it tastes like it was made by a pro. I'll be back there for sure.

Classic deli and amazing food. Steve is so friendly and makes small talk every time. I'm not a huge meat person but the deli meats here are delicious. You'll be paying about $7-$8 a sandwich. The amount of meat and toppings aren't skipped and you get a massive portion for a deli sandwich. This isn't fancy, just classic. Not a hipster deli.

Fantastic. Sandwich is made on demand, with the newest sliced freshly as you wait. And he heats the corned beef for a delicious experience.
