Stearman Field

I visited Stearman the other day and it’s a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful place. I got a salad and the rest of my family got burgers and a wrap. The salad was perfect and my mom said the wrap was amazing too. My brother and sister shared a pizza and they both loved it. Our waiter was extremely kind and tended to everything we needed. After we were done, we watched the planes fly by and enjoyed our evening:) would definitely come again!!

I'm glad we finally went to check out Stearman Field. We had originally gone for the aviation draw but found our family hungry before we left. So we stopped in at the Bar and Grill on the field and really enjoyed the decoration there. Very modern in a classic way. We have a large family of 6 and were able to find seating readily available. Granted the place had recently opened from the pandemic shutdown. That being said the burgers were very good as well as the salad and desserts! No complaints at all in regard to the food. I would ask that the music and video selection be more geared toward younger patrons though. Grunge rock of the 90s showed some very risque scenes. Overall it was a good experience. The server helped us out a lot! We hope to be back in the future.

I often come here with my uncle, his own kids, and my own parents. And I’d say we really all enjoy this place. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun- really lots of people are having fun and laughter. And the decorator and setup is just amazing. Everywhere to look there’s something interesting either on the floor, wall, or ceiling. Either plane themed or even actual plane parts. I really do enjoy the view. And any server I’ve met is nice! They don’t just take your orders, they will converse- and you’ll end up leaving with a new friend. The food is just great too. I usually get the burger, in which I enjoy the taste and loved the fries. Your able to sit outside too, and aside from that is a small playground for kids- which I think is a good add. On the other side is the runway for small planes. Really, if your looking for a place for a good get together or even party, this would be the place.

It's a fun place to go with friends, especially on the weekends for breakfast. I like watching the older planes take off and land. The breakfast buffet is pretty basic but good and very reasonable. You don't get shrimp and prime rib, but your not paying for it either. The food, other than the breakfast buffet, is also pretty good. It's mostly bar food and hamburgers etc. There is a small play area for the kids and a large covered patio that can be enclosed when the weather isn't so friendly. They have a large stocked bar inside and a small one on the patio. If you haven't been there, what are you waiting for. Head on over. Maybe I'll see you there for breakfast.
