Steam Darien

This is a must try restaurant! The crisp duck and chili sauce sichuan chicken was delish and a must try! If you are not a spice fan, steer clear of the chili sauce sichuan chicken, it's pretty spicy. We ate the appetizers before I could snap a pic, clearly we didn't like the apps, j/k, spring roll and satay chicken were both delish (ask for extra peanut sauce)!!

Food was great. Service left much to be desired, but maybe that was because we came in on a slow sunday night.

Just OK at best. CT is not known for it's Chinese food. Nice atmosphere, good service, friendly people but the food is so so. My broccoli was undercooked just a bit, the sauce didn't taste good, I'm not sure why.

Always love Steam! We go so often, the staff knows us. Great Chinese food at good prices.

Best value and decent Chinese food

The food was good. It was Chinese food but more fresh than a typical Chinese restaurant. The restaurant had and okay atmosphere and plenty of seating for a group at lunch time.The service was lacking. I had to ask for water three times before the waiter brought any water to the table. I had 5 people with me and we were all nearly finished with our food before we were able to get water. For this reason, I would never want to bring a customer or client here for lunch.

Horrible food, Dirty chairs, overpriced never going back. Darien really needs a higher caliber Chinese restaurant, this one is sorely lacking. We didn't even get serving utensils for food !!!

Excellent fresh Chinese food! Real vegetables and generous portions. Amazing homemade dumplings!

Manager or someone who was obviously in charge chased me down to the door as i was leaving came up to me being rude cuz the tip i left wasn’t good enough.
