Steak 'n Shake

Went on a Friday night around 9:30. Was packed with high school kids. They weren't unruly or anything. But they packed the house. This put a strain on an already under staffed store. Food was great, but it took a while to get it.

Showed up at 3 in mrng after a night out for my wife's birthday, waitress gave our whole party birthday cake to celebrate! She went above and beyond for us at that time of night, it was GREATLY appreciated and will be back

Food is what you’d expect from a fast food restaurant, but the servers are what make it great. Britney and Ivanna are always friendly and quick with refills, I enjoy chatting with them. They both always remember my friends and I’s usual orders.

Besides the good food and great shakes, we were really impressed by the exceptional service of our waiter Ivanna. Great energy and professionalism.While it looks like the restaurant is understaffed, she excelled.

Loved the food.Had to stand for too long waiting to be seated. Had to wait long enough for other people to come in and then, magically, the hostess could pause her conversation long enough to say... Four? No,I said,one. Got my order taken right away. Got my food right away. As I said, loved the food. Would have been nice to have a refill on soda,but the food was great.

This is the best Steak ‘n Shake I’ve ever been to around central and northern Indiana. They are fast, food is good, and service overall awesome. They have servers who have been there for years which says a lot about a place. The prices are great for what you get.

Decent food and service. One of the few places open 24 hours.

Steak and Shake is a nice place for breakfast too! Traditional eggs and bacon, toast, biscuits and pancakes. All the basics for breakfast, good service, great, (did I say great value pricing $) and it must be a secret because few people were there when we arrived. I am sure that is more a reflection of awareness than anything else. Great value $ very good food. Try it!

I was worried because they were crowded & we were on our way to ice skate. Great server & our order came up fast. Everyone cleaned their plates!

I've been going here for years and I love it every time. Some people stop eating the food after they work at a place and see how it was made, but I've honestly eaten here more since I worked here than I did before. Everything is clean and the employees are amazing to their customers and coworkers. I miss working there every time I go in.

Nice counter with a view of cooking burgers and the staff are helpful and fun. Great burgers and fries and don't forget the chilli....or a malt.
