Steak 'n Shake

Well... I am having bad luck when I am going out for milk shakes. I only go to steak and shake for the shakes. They have the best shakes, specially the Nutella shake with cookies and M&Ms 🤤. BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE NUTELLA it is unacceptable that a place that sells shakes runs out of it... several times 🤨. The burgers are just under average, nothing special on them. They are under staffed, waiting time was too long, but servers (Melisa?) Were very courteous. I definitely am going back for the shakes.

Can you say delicious. Look this place takes forever making your food in drive through. And I get irritated each and every time, until I sink my teeth into one of those burgers. Then I think... yep... its worth the wait!

Another great visit to steak and shake our server Melissa was very attentive and quick. Food was delicious and restaurant was clean and updated.

I had a Prime Burger and a side salad. The burger and service were excellent.

It was decent and as expected for an off the beltway fast food joint but...I’ve never seen an employer allow their employees to sprawl out at the front counter where guests come in...on their phone. 2-3 tables walked in and stood and waited while she kept her back turned and face in the phone...and the manager on the other side of the kitchen. But okaaaayyyyyyy

Staff needs motivation but the food is good. The location on San Jose and Hartley needs a good cleaning and staff retraining or hire additional staff. The location on Phillips Highway near the movies is good! Good is great at both locations.

Ordered a Frisco steakburger. Received a Frisco melt. Ordered a mint Oreo shake. Received a regular Oreo shake. Either our server wasn't listening or the cooks didn't read closely enough - my partner's meal came out exactly as specified, however, and we were charged for exactly what we recieved, this was just a strangely disappointing experience from what is usually a well-performing location.The establishment is clean with clean bathrooms and despite the error, the servers are very friendly.

Nice, but there was obviously lack of personnel. The staff was kind and they did their best! Stay strong and keep up with the good work you are doing.

I hadn't been here in years! I had the double cheeseburger with fries and a drink for the low price of $5. The food was hot and delicious. The employee was polite and I we were given condiments AND paper towels without asking for them! It was great; looking forward to going back.

I love this place you can never go wrong.

I've actually been to this location few times. Was not waiting time. The server was very attentive to anything we needed. The only downside was that it took them more than 20 minutes to prepare the meal, even though the restaurant was only 5 tables occupied, however the food was great. Overall was a good experience, my family and I will continue to dine at this location hopefully for many more years. Thanks

Super Yummy even after ten pm! Several burgers to choose from..

Cheap and delicious. Fed three people for 13 bucks! My go to for a delicious burger!
