Steak 'n Shake

Our Christmas Eve tradition continues! We’ve had issues w church and closing times etc over the years. Yesterday my husband took home a sack of chilli macs for our dinner before church. Thank you north university Steak ‘n Shake! Our food was delicious even a few hours later heated in microwave. It was all still moist and wonderful besides we forgot to ask for saltines! Merry Christmas!

Was hit or miss as far as quality. Service was never an issue. This is irrelevant now as this location has closed and will NOT be reopening. 😞

One of best! Great service..The $4 menu is awesome for the Family. Paid a meal for a veteran that was too enjoying his meal. Keep up the good work!!

Food was excellent but the eating area was not that clean. Tables were not cleaned off that well and the windows ledges hadn't been wiped out for awhile. We tried 3 different ketchup and mustard containers from 3 different tables and they were all very sticky like they hadn't been washed off for awhile. And we weren't the only ones that noticed this!!

This in my opinion is THE worst steak n shake in the area. They are always getting orders wrong, the dining smells like old wet basement and I often have to sit in the empty drive thru for minutes before a lackluster voice asks what I want. I never cease to be more underwhelmed and less satisfied than the time before.

I have been to this steak N shake many times, and have had mixed results the times I have been. The food has been good, although they have royally messed up my order several times over the years. Also, the service can be extremely slow at times (although not every time). In light of the other steak N shakes in town, I can't wholeheartedly recommend this one.

What can I say? Use their coupons and get an excellent value. Yesterday my wife and I ate there, 2 double cheeseburgers and fries, onion rings and a milkshake. Our bill before coupons: $13. After coupons: $6.50. We rarely eat out but when we crave fast food, this is where we go.

This Steak n Shake is often overlooked and forgotten about. However, it was probably the best experience I've had with the chain in quite some time. The manager made rounds to make sure everything was good. The server was a hawk and made sure we didn't need refills and that our food came out perfect. She was super friendly. Food was phenomenal.

Good food and great atmosphere.
